Jai & J’s Convenience Store

I grew up blocks from Jai & J’s. As a kid we used to run into Jai & J’s with pennies and get red foot gummies and hot lips for 5 cents. Hostess chips with WWF wrestler stickers inside and large glass bottles of Pepsi and Jolt that we could return later for a refund. I am now in my 30’s and while I no longer live in the area I still come back every now and then. The family owned and run store is the best, and the people are friendly. When I was 10 I tripped over a curb infront of the store and hit my head splitting it open. The owner came out and took me inside and held a towel on my head until I was taken to the hospital. Generally caring people that have been in the community for a long time. While the area has changed a lot and the people in the area are not the same this store and the owners have not changed.

Great neighborhood convenience store for over 20 years, owners couldn’t be nicer. The entire neighborhood knows them.
