Alegria Spa

This place is now called «Brude spa» or something to that effect. Telephone number is the same though.
DH & I each purchased a coupon Teambuy ticket for a spa package (massage, pedi, mani) here. Title change came after our purchase.
Totally not even worth the discounted price! So glad we hadn’t visited & paid regular price, that’s for sure.
They just moved to a new location too! Convenient enough with good parking down the block. That’s why there is 1 star here.
We’ve both had spa treatments done before & were less than impressed with each part of this visit. The masseuse I had was new at it for sure. This was blatantly obvious as well in the job she did with my mani/​pedi also (yes, both «masseuses» did all three treatments for us)… Worst mani ever! Pedi was less than desirable. They really need to get pedi chairs too. It was done over a stainless steel bowl that I thought would tip over at any minute.
At the end of our visit, we had to pay taxes on our coupon (expected). DH went to pull the car around & I waited to get everything settled. Turns out their card machine was not yet set up (nor did the counter staff know how to use it, even if it was — one of them was searching for the instructions). While 1 fumbled around, the manager was on the phone & seemed annoyed that she asked for help. Then, gave me attitude as to where the nearest atm is since I didn’t have cash! Wow. Turns out DH had enough cash on him in the car so I quickly ran back in & bothered them again by dropping it off.
All in all, not impressed. Not going back.
