Clean, new facility. Glass and concrete. Located next to a brand spanking new library built in the same architectural style.
Two NHL-​size rinks with ample seating for spectators. The local Jr «A» team makes this rink a home. So do a number of minor hockey team of various caliber.
Swimming pool with 25 m lanes, a play area for kids and a water slide. It’s been under construction /​reno for a long time. Looks about ready to open but it still closed.
Several meeting /​MPR rooms to host a seminar, a business presentation, or a community meeting. Probably not expensive either but doesn’t seem to be in great demand. I suppose the demand will catch up with the growth of the town.
What else?
Plenty of parking space.
A gym. And an indoor running track.
Two basketball courts.
