Slow? Not so. We called ahead, and they not only remembered my name, but reserved a section of their fryer for us so that the food would be as freshly cooked as possible. Really nice staff. Excellent food! Chips were great, salad was really fresh, and my friends said that the fish was wonderful(I had a great chicken souvlaki)! We’d definitely eat food from here again!

It was okay. The only problem is the women’s washroom. It wasn’t clean when we went there. But the dining area was clean. The food was okay. Our haddock fried fish was cooked fresh but the fries was a little cold. The salt, pepper, ketchup, white vinegar and malt vinegar are all filled and I think that’s great. Except the ketchup lid wasn’t close tight. Am I coming back? Probably not. The problem is that our clothes smelled like fried food when we left. I think it’ll be better if they have a good exhaust.

Visited once with my wife. It’s obviously a family owned restaurant. The décor is simple and probably hasn’t been renovated since last century, although it’s clean. She got the haddock fish and chips platter and I got the same with shrimp and calamari. The fish was excellent, the chips were house made, nice and fresh. The shrimp and calamari were also fresh and tasty. Just a bit pricey for fish and chips though. Came out to about $ 50 with tax and service for 2 people. But on the other hand, you can order their basic fish and chips platter and you’ll spend less. But I personally always prefer haddock over cod.

Excellent fish and chips served by pleasant staff! White and malt vinegar on the table. Fresh cut fries, not peeled but without that sandy texture that happens sometimes with unpeeled fries. Yummy coleslaw included on most plates, and I do love my coleslaw. My only complaint is a bit of weirdness: I heard the couple at the next table wondering aloud why they didn’t get coleslaw with their plates. It turns out that they had ordered the special which is fish and chips with soup included for the same price as the fish and chips with coleslaw. No warning that there is no coleslaw on the«special». I would have flipped out. At least warn us about this distressing situation! I almost took a star off for that. All things considered, an nearly-perfect meal.
