«You gotta eat here!» The service wasn’t stellar on a quiet Thursday lunch — but the pizzas were TASTY!!! Go for the pizzas or take them to go! The pizzas are crazy nique, and the toppings were fresh, and take no time at all from ordering to hit the table… that being said it wasn’t busy when we went.

Overshare/background: Im not a pizza loving person. I like pizza only because my other half gets tired of eating Asian cuisine like forever. General: So, when I discovered the wonderful taste of PIE Pizza, woweeeeeee!!! I love not so thick dough with flavourful ingredients. Oh man. I want to go back again and try the other fifty or so pizza. Specifics: as appetizer, we had the salty balls. A fried dough with bacon bits and cheese and green onions, and they were good. Came in twenty or so of them, good enough to share among 3 – 4 adults. One of our party had the long island iced tea=very good, Flying Monkey =crisp taste. All around, good selection. We orders two main pizza: the hedgehog and hmm, i don’t remember the other one but it was yummmy. Hedgehog was a meaty pizza and thats how i love it. It really is wood oven made, and if it is not, do not tell me. So, if you’re in Barrie and wondering to eat great pizza, go to PIE!!! There are two locations, too.

If you love unique pizzas with not the normal toppings, this is the place for you! Obviously they still have good olé pepperoni, but they also have many options that are unique and very good! I got the stinky pie and my co worker got the porky pie and both were great! We started with the salty balls and I would highly recommend getting them! They were sooo good! It’s a great pizza place and you will not leave hungry!

Been here twice. Both times I cannot complain. The pizza is fresh and they are very unique. The service is fast and the waitress we had was very knowledgeable of the menu and had awesome recommendations. If I lived in Barrie this would of been one of my local spots that I would always be at.

I’ve been to Pie a few times now. Their pies are always piping hot and the toppings fresh. Wish they had a pizza joint like this in Toronto. I did have an appetizer today and it was good(warm olives). I don’t know how they do it(they say is the wood fire oven all the way from Italy) but this pizza rivals great thin crust Italian pizza. The way pizza was meant to be; not deep dish. Crisp, fresh, thin and delicious. No disappointments at the Pie Joint!

Nothing Special! This place is average at best. Bad service. Bar-like décor. Underdone bland pizza. expensive for what you get. My dining companion mentioned when he returned from the restroom that it reminded him of a dive bar or booze can bathroom. Holes punched into walls and dirty!?! Meh! I won’t be back.

Staff was friendly, menu choices were plentiful and food was great. I liked the atmosphere: the TVs were showing, alternately, hockey and rock music videos. Will definitely come back.

Great place and tasty pizza. The service is very good, would definitely come back. The sloped patio is a little bit of an inconvenience.

Chose this location as oppose to the main location to stroll along the waterfront after lunch.(The walk after lunch was much needed, I was stuffed after eating half the pizza.) We ordered one Porky Pie and a Captain Liner Pie. The porky pie was very flavorful and featured a great combination of spicy sausage and prosciutto. The toppings on both pizza were really fresh and they put a lot of toppings on the pizzas. There was a lot of prosciutto on the porky pie and a decent amount of scallops and shrimps on the Captain Liner. Service was great, we were seated the minute we got into the restaurant and our server was helpful in giving us the first-timer run down of what Pie has to offer. What I appreciated most was the explanation of prices for any alternations or additions we can add to our pizza such as whole wheat pizza crust or hot peppers for $ 1 more or adding shrimps for $ 4 more. He was extremely clear and detailed in explaining the menu and options, very helpful. Will definitely come back and recommend to others!!! Also, I love how their Pie names are so witty!
