Lone Star Texas Grill

I love their Brisket Burger. Montana’s used to have it, but they discontinued it and I have not been back since! Everything we have ordered here has been excellent. And the cowgirl scenery is not bad either!

Service was prompt and friendly, food was prepared well and delivered hot. This is a chain so nothing special but exactly what I expected. Plus free WiFi.

since moving up to the area we have dined here quite a few times. last night I ordered A14oz ribeye steak. which was a lot better than the steaks I ordered a few years ago. the coleslaw is bland, the potatoes are huge but very good. overall i would give this place a thumbs up for improved quality of food over the years.

Stopped by later in the evening around 9 pm. Ordered the beef taco salad which looked amazing. Unfortunately it was nearly frozen solid. The green peppers were literally frosty.
My husband’s burrito was barely warm.
Because this is the second meal in a row that was less than satisfactory we will not be back.
We mentioned this to our server who admitted we were her third customer that evening who had sent back food. They are obviously going through some difficulty.

I was surprised coming to this location, how smoothly everything was going!
To start off with, after a long day we were all tired and just stopped for some dinner before continuing our trip. Service was fast, immediately we were brought chips and salsa and not long after water.
Our server was excellent, very friendly and professional. I have seen some other locations with terrible servers.
This is a great addition to Barrie, as they have taken away some good restaurants over the years.
The chicken Chimichanga’s were delicious here!

I ordered the Lonestar wrap and fries while my girlfriend ordered the southern fried chicken tenders. The wrap was very bland and soggy, the fries were also warm and soggy. The chicken tenders my girlfriend has was served warm and reminded me of boneless chicken wings dunked in wing sauce. The coleslaw was completely bland. We sat looking at each other and the $ 30 food in front of us and decided to send it all back.
We ended up going to Costco across the street for a hotdog.
I have since been back to use up the rest of the gift card and to give this place a second chance. While the experience was a complete disaster as the first time it was merely «ok». There are many more deserving places than this to eat at; I won’t be back.

Attended a Friday around 4:30pm We had the fajitas, other than the tortillas being freshly made this place wasn’t anything special. The waitresses were dressed inappropriate with extremely short skirts, twice we saw the bottom ass of one waitress as she just slightly (not even a bend) leaned forward a bit to take someone order. I get they try to make it a country feel but lets be a bit more classy and fun without the sleezy. I wouldnt bring my kids to this place because of the dress code. A family of 4 were sitting across from us looking at the menu when we first walked in and they didn’t get their food until after we had already finished ours. We waiting about 15 min for our drinks and another 15 for our food. The toppings that came with our meal were scarce and all though unlimited, after making my first fajitas I needed a refill on most of them. Which there were no waitresses passing our way until they decided to take the family of 4s order when we were just about finished our meal.
Obviously we wont be back.

I grew up right around the corner from the original Lone Star and have never been to a franchise store. The atmosphere wasn’t the same rowdy dive bar kind of feel, but the food and drinks were great! We had fajitas, margaritas, sangria and quesadillas.
Service was not all that great, disjointed and impersonal, and no one seemed to know who had what tables, or much about the menu. Seeing as they’ve just recently opened, we gave them a gimme on that one. Sucks they’ve gone corporate, but we’ll be back for another taste of home!

We’ve dined at many Lone Star Grills in the past, and were so excited when a Lone Star opened in Barrie! Happy to say they didn’t disappoint — AMAZING food, FANTASTIC service… it was our 20^th wedding anniversary, and at least a dozen of the wait staff made a point to come to our table and wish us a happy anniversary. Our server comped us an ‘apple sizzler’ for dessert — BEST dessert EVER! Thanks so much for a great meal… if you’ve never been to the Lone Star Texas Grill, saddle up and get to their Barrie, Ontario location!

What a great place! Today we got the world famous fajitas! Boy are they worth it! They make their tortillas fresh right in the dining room! Mmmm mmm mmmmmmm!
All the food is in the name! Texas flavor! However if spice is not our thing they stated that you could get it «naked»
Staff was very welcoming and appeared happy that u were there! It was the opening tonight so patience was needed for some staff and their knowledge of certain things! But no worries! Well worth it!
You won’t be disappointed! RECOMMEND!
