Yuk Yuk Comedy Club

Terrible experience. Place looks like a dive. Comedians were not that funny. One of the stand ups was downright creepy. The worst was the owner who was very rude to my friend because she brought water to drink. When we went there on Friday the place look dead. The crowd consisted of a few drunk and rough people. Ripoff for the substandard experience we received.

My review is based on about 5 visits to this particular location.
I will give you a bit about how to enjoy a Yuk Yuks night a little better, and a little about this particular location.
Yuks Yuks is a comedy bar Canada wide has a pretty standard way of presentation. You get the standard warm up music, an MC, a start up person, a middle act, and your headliner.
The way that you enjoy Yuk Yuks (and this particular location) most, is planning ahead, going to their website’s «click here for reservations», and picking a comic (and as a result, night) that you think will have material that you will like.
Why not go on a night that you will laugh more? I saw Eddie Griffin here, he was awesome!
This location. You get a little bit of a different feel. An owner that seems into the craft a little more than the other owners. You can tell he is also a fan, and does a good job to create a cozier environment .
You have a light that you can push during the show that tells the servers you would like your next drink, and they are friendly and prompt.
This location should be doing a little better based on their service, decent crowd, and owner care.
I would like to see this place pick up a little more.
Key to going, you went to laugh, make sure you loosen up and do it.
It is a good date nite, or something different to do night out!
