It was a nice break on my drive from Edmonton to Calgary. It was easy to find and is much larger than it looks on the outside.
The store was clean and organized. There was a whole room of furniture. I did find the prices a little high but that may be do to its closeness to Calgary. I was looking for inexpensive costume jewellery to use in projects but didn’t find any.
I would go back as you never know what you may uncover.

Lots of offerings, nicely laid out, polite staff. My issue was that I wanted to buy an item that the dealer had neglected to price. The staff said she is notorious for this and tried to phone her to get her price but couldn’t get a hold of her. The staff offered to take my name and number but I’m not local and wasn’t going to return. I offered to give $ 5 for the item (comparable to other items from the same booth) and if the dealer didn’t like that, too bad, it’s her own fault for not putting a price on it in the first place. The staff understood but said they couldn’t do that. So I couldn’t buy it. I know it is not the staff’s fault but they should have a policy with their dealers that offers will be accepted when the dealers fail to price things. Overall, GREAT furniture but for smaller items/​ambience/​policy, check out the antique store in Canmore, much better.

I finally had the chance to stop here and I have to say I had way too much fun. I was looking for something for my backyard and there were so many items I couldn’t make up my mind. I did however find some really cool things for inside my house. I make jewelry as well and couldn’t believe my luck when I saw a box full of old pocket watch pieces. I would like to go back every week but I think it would be bad for my bank account. I will be back soon though as I saw a number of things for Christmas gifts. I found the prices reasonable and the staff was helpful. They also knew where things were which is amazing considering how much stock there is in this place. If you do go make sure you give yourself time, this isn’t a quick pop in/​pop out place and take a bottle of water with you. It was quite dry inside and we were parched when we left.
