Starbucks

This is my home location. I visit almost daily. The staff are friendly, efficient and I dont’ even have to order any more lol.
Yes, while people smoke on the patio and homeless and drug addicts are visible; I’ve never seen a problem inside the store. The store has a great management staff and the mall has friendly security.

The staff is friendly & efficient, and the food & drinks are up to Starbucks standards, although I’m not sure that the 17 fruit flies (I counted) that were having a party on a wrap & nearby breakfast sandwich in the display cooler are on the menu? Maybe it’s a Canada thing?
Joking aside, I pointed it out and was politely told that those were mock wraps so it didn’t really matter. I replied that it’s an open cooler, therefore the little fluttering flies could (and probably do) go on a walkabout on allllll the other treats. Sat here and sipped my drink, ate my (pre wrapped and flie-​less) sesame chicken wrap over the course of approx 15 mins and they didn’t attempt to remove the offending bugs. Blergh! Not a fan of that.

Starbucks was fine, they are all pretty much the same. The homeless guy sitting outside who called me a cocksucker I could have did without.

Bottle collecting man and woman wearing high viz jackets lounging on the outdoor patio is stellar, especially when they park their bike with trailer full of findings near the garbage can. They don’t bother anyone and they are respectful so I’m cool with that.
However I am not cool with people smoking on the outdoor patio with the sign clearly visible.

This is my favorite location — the staff are friendly and efficient and I dont’ even have to order any more. They are very good with my little person too :)
