Holiday Inn Parque Anhembi

Will I go back? Maybe. I was not impressed with this property. The breakfast that comes with the room is good and this is the best part. I found the room to be a bit small and there were two twin beds instead of a queen or king. Maybe this is a local custom. There were light bulbs out in the hallway. My air conditioner leaked water after it had been running for several minutes. One of the elevator sets was set backwards on the 11^th floor. If you hit the up button the car returned was going down and vice versa. You do have to pay for the gym and it is not worth the money. The cardio equipment is old and rundown and the weight equipment is nothing to write home about. All in all the hotel serves it’s purpose as the closest lodging to the nearby convention center. I guess it can make it on convenience.

Very nice hotel and the people are very nice too. They greet you the second you get out of the cab and take your bags for you. The check in process is always fast. They have free wifi for me, great big dining area that has free breakfast, you serve yourself, and it is very good. A nice gym and indoor pool and sauna, which is nice. I like the bar by the lobby although drinks are pricey it’s a nice atmosphere with plenty of TVs with sports on. And they also have a free shuttle bus to one of the malls there that runs all day. People make the stay even better, they really are nice here and very helpful to their guest. Would recommend staying here.

This hotel is gigantic. They have a swimming pool and a gym in the basement. Parking is pretty much valet service only. Internet will cost you but is free for their gold and platinum members. There is a private check-​in/​check-​out next to the lobby check-​in/​check-​out for the higher up members. Rooms are spacious and have a decent view of the always crowded highway. If you are coming for Carnavale, this is the hotel to stay at because it is within walking distance to the Carnavale location. The only problem is that the traffic around the hotel during Carnavale is a nightmare. Trust me, I was there. They have a gigantic restaurant and if you go for lunch, there is a huge selection of foods to choose from. The only problem is that the price of the restaurant is a lot higher than what I would pay for the qaulity of food. However, if you don’t want to leave the hotel, then the food is still good. The main problem that I have with this hotel is that I always have connection issues with the internet. I’ve stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and always have internet issues.
