Not sure about you, but sometimes, when I dine in at places like this(pastries, decadent desserts, cakes, flans, quiche, etc), I crave eating something sweet right after my savory meal but usually endup not getting because dessert prices can be outrageous, or it’s a hit or miss kind of place. Espaço D is a hidden gem among so many restaurants in that shopping mall on Faria Lima strip. Had a four cheeses lasagna and it tasted homemade, something quite unusual from places like this, it was cheesy but not overly cheesy, not too salty, and I think it had a touch of nutmeg, was a nice touch to counter balance all that cheesy goodness. But the stars of this show were truly the desserts, this is what I had: Bolo de Brigadeiro: chocolate cake filled and covered with Brigadeiro. Bolo Toalha Felpuda: white cake drizzled with coconut milk, condensed milk, covered with coconut shavings. This one came wrapped in aluminum foil, reminds me of tres leches cake but not nearly as sweet as tres leches. Bolo Bem Casado: white cake filled with bem casado crème with doce de leite(dulce de leche), topped with powdered sugar. Meal prices are below average and dessert price is by weight, so you can indulge more or less. Overall great place to have a quick meal, seating is abundant, and clean.
