Being the top club in Rio, and number 35 in the world based on dj mag, I had pretty high expectations for this place. I was rather disappointed, but considering I’m a gringo who frequents clubs in Vegas and LA, you may take my opinion with a grain of salt. The venue is rather small and the 2nd level consists of vip tables. Although, you may buy bottles and hang out anywhere you can find space which I highly recommend. It doesn’t make any sense if coming in a group and ordering drinks from the bar all night. A grey goose bottle was 450 which is downright cheap compared to US prices. The cocktails however are highway robbery at about 40 – 50 per drink. The club opens at 11pm and starts filling up around 1230. I expected better music but I think I’m just spoiled with our music back at home where new releases are heard on the daily. Overall, it’s a nice night out in Rio for electronic music.
