Lisetonga is one of the finests Rio de Janeiro hostels. Located up a little hill on the entrance to Chapêu Mangueira and Babilônia communities, nearby Bar do David, or Mar da Babilônia, it is an excellent hostel with great atmosphere.

Lisetonga is actively participating in improving the neighbourhood, through mosaic work (Mural Babilônia), grafitti, and purchase of thrash bins for the street, among others.

Fundado/​a em 2011.

Since opening, in 2011, Lisetonga Hostel is between the finest Rio de Janeiro Hostels. Its TripAdvisor ranking is self explanatory:

In the Rio de Janeiro, after spending several years in Barcelona and Mexico City. She knows what it is like to travel and stay in hotels and hostels. Here in Rio she choose Leme, an oasis of peace just 5 minutes’ walk from the beach.

She worked in a bank, as a consultant, and in other hostels to find out her real passion. She loves people, welcoming them and taking care of them. She also loves chatting so don’t be surprised if you end up whiling away an evening over a few caipirinhas!
