Escola do Pão

Go on an empty stomach and a free schedule. This is the type of place to go with friends for a long easy going weekend brunch. They’re super friendly and the place is cozy. The second floor has a view of the micos playing on the telephone wire.
First comes orange juice then a crispy Pão de queijo and a blended papaya bowl with a side of granola. There’s also a tiny cup of a sweet corn pudding with a sprinkle of cinnamon which is delicious. Then comes an assortment bread basket and spreads of hot cheese, butter, and jams. Then a small plate of cheesy bread with a small portion of scrambled eggs. There a plate of petite sandwiches; turkey, Brie and jam, and hot dog.
Finally hot chocolate and coffee comes out with a dessert tray of heart waffles, madeleines, a bananada square, and a chocolate or orange cake!
So many things to try and nicely presented in small portions so it’s possible to try many different ones without getting too full. Even still I could hardly finish most of it.
They also have a large jar of water to serve yourself which is nice so you don’t have to flag down a waiter.
Nice setting with bathrooms up stairs (3^rd fl) and they might actually do bread making classes here with the angled ceiling mirrors and open wash sinks.

Sensacional café da manhã, o preço é um pouco salgado, mas é bastante farto e os atendentes super simpáticos e prestativos. Vale a pena!

Uma maravilha, uma perdição.
No sabado ou domingo, vale a pena: levante cedinho e va tomar café nesse lugar maravilhoso ! Aproveite: você esta no Rio de Janeiro !
No cardapio: suco natural, mamão, milk shake, cafezinho brasileiro, chocolate quente, sanduiches deliciosos, queijinhos, bolinhos, waffles e até curau de milho !
Os pães estão sempre fresquinhos (e quentinhos), seja no café da manhã ou café da tarde.
O bistrô também é magnifico e merece uma degustação.
