We were staying at a nearby hostel down the street and needed a quick meal. This place was perfect! The place is speedy, tasty, cheap, and authentic. We got a couple of shawarmas and both were very delicious! There are a few Lebanese spots along this street and I wished we were on a longer stay to try the rest of them out…

Beirut, in Brazil, who knew??? I still have a lot to learn about Brazilian history and its immigration waves but it was a real pleasure to find this modest Lebanese eatery on our way to the airport to head back to Rio. The baba Ghanoush/mutabbal was spot on w proper soft and thin bread, and the falafel and shawarma sandwiches were utterly scrumptious! Yalla!!!

When looking to switch it up from local Brazilian fare or looking for a quick bite, these Lebanese joint fits the bill. The shawarma and hummus I got scores for freshness a solid 8.5 out of 10, while flavor a respectable 7 out of 10. Note: No alcohol served.
