We went here based on the reviews and it was worth it. If you don’t go when it opens for dinner, around 6, you need a reservation. The pasta rivals that of homemade pasta in Italy for sure. We both had specials, four cheese heart ravioli and a tagliatelle Verdi with ham and they were great. I can’t comment on the prices in comparison to the area but we thought it was worth every penny. The service is very good and most of the staff speak fluent English. If you’re looking for good pasta in the area, this is it!

Très bonne adresse pour y manger des pâtes maison à des prix raisonnables. En effet, le centre de Bruxelles pullulent de restaurants à des prix exorbitants pour des plats fades. Hé bien ce n’est pas le cas ici. Le service est bien sympathique et le repas est très bon. On sent la fraîcheur des pâtes et des sauces juste en rentrant de le restaurant. Pour les amoureux de pâtes, ce restaurant vaut le détour :-)

I read many reviews that the service are non-existent in the restaurants in Brussels. This is so not true in Pasta Divina. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. This place is tiny and the two waiters are always running up and down the stairs. They are attentive and were so very nice. I had the house special, hand made spinach pasta with bacon. It was cooked PERFECTLY. I think that was the best pasta I’ve ever had. Partner had the Pizza pasta. The pasta was a bit too al dente but it the sauce was really yummy. You must visit this place for good pasta and amazing service.

Wife and I had both of the day’s specials, and thought they were quite good. To be honest, I don’t think we even got a chance to actually check out the menu. Nevertheless, the food came out in like 5 minutes(they were the specials, after all), and with proper portions fitting for an Italian restaurant. Bottle of water + 2 specials came out to 37 €, which is not cheap, but could be worse, considering the location and all the tourist traps nearby.

Travaillant dans le quartier, je me méfie des attrapes touristes mais je peux vous assurer que ce n’est pas le cas de pasta divina! Le concept est simple: une dizaine de sortes de pâtes(fraîches) et de sauces… A vous de combiner les deux selon vos envies. Prix totalement raisonnable, entre 12 et 15 eur pour un plat. Chaque jour, ils vous proposent également les pâtes du jour. Idéal pour un lunch, service rapide et personnel très sympa! Allez-y sans hésiter!

Nice little family Italian restaurant near Grand Place. It was raining tonight so we stayed close to our hotel. Sat upstairs and started with a fresh Caprese Salad. Next had pasta with cream and mushrooms and pasta puttanesca. Pasta was cooked just right and sauced perfectly. Mentioned we were traveling to celebrate my wife’s birthday and they turned the lights down, brought a tiramasu and sang a chorus of Happy Birthday. Nice night in a nice restaurant in a nice town. Doesn’t get much better.

We stopped by for dinner as it is right off of Grand Place in Brussels. We were able to sit down right away as we were early in the evening. Our waiter told us not to order too many appetizers, as Mama would be upset if we did not finish our pasta. If you don’t like pasta go elsewhere. If you like pasta, then this is an excellent place to eat. For an appetizer we had bread and a caprese salad. It was excellent, with basil from their garden, superb olive oil, great balsamic, and fresh mozzarella. My wife had pappardelle with ragu, and I had spinach ravioli with salmon sauce. They were both great, and a huge serving. Highly recommend this spot for pasta lovers.

Des pâtes maison, des sauces maison et ça se sent! Le cadre n’est pas très italien et la localisation pourrait faire croire à un attrape touriste mais la nourriture y est vraiment bonne! J’ai opté pour des raviolis fourres ricotta-épinards avec la fameuse sauce ragu. J’ai opté pour un classique mais je n’étais pas déçue! Le goût y était et on sentait la fraîcheur et le fait maison! Le service est très bien, les serveurs s’occupent bien de nous et se préoccupent du déroulement de notre repas(ils sont même je dirais un peu TROP là mais mieux vaut ça que des serveurs qui s’en foutent). Le vin est bon et pas cher et le cadre est sympa si on peut se mettre à la fenêtre! Une adresse à tester!

Very good! It was a little bit pricey for what it was, but I was still satisfied at the end of the meal. We arrived at 11:30AM and the family was just arriving so they advised us to return at 12:30 which we did. We ordered the fettuccine with the mushroom cream sauce and this was definitely the better meal of the two that we ordered. It was declines — i highly recommend it. We also ordered the squiggly long noodle(tangioletti or something) with a red sauce and peppers. This one wasn’t as good as the first and I probably wouldn’t order it again. I would shy away from both the sauce and that noodle type. It certainly wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as good as the other dish. For those two dishes and no drinks or extras, the total was about 28 euro. I’d recommend this to a friend!

Without trying to sound like a party pooper, we went there with very high expectations based on all the positive reviews! Sadly our expectations were somewhat squished. don’t get me wrong, the diverse choice of pasta type is nice, the service very friendly(!!) But I have had much tastier(and better priced) pasta in Brussels hence my lower rating. Also what put me off was the additional € added when we asked for one of the dishes to have chilli. Granted they mention in the menu you have to pay for additions such as bread, but still. given the fact most restos give this complimentary, we found it rather cheeky. Given all this, the pasta was fresh and cooked to al dente– with copious sauce; I dont want to take that away from this resto; just probably not somewhere I would run back too soon!

I went here with several colleagues one night and could not have been more pleased. Not only with the foood, but the service as well. This place is family owned and the pasta is made in house, by «mama». I decided to get one of hte speacils. The pasta was made with tomatoes in it so it had a nice red color. The sauce was a mascarpone, red pepper, olive oil sauce — absolutely delicious. Did I mention my pasta had bacon in it? Yummy is all I can say! To go along with the pasta, I had a lovely Italian red wine(of course!). To finish the night off I had a speculos dessert — again absolutely delicious. One of my other colleagues got the ricotta cheesecake — I can recommend it also. The place isn’t large, and the seating is upstairs(there is some outside seating, but it was a little chilly that night). I will definitely be going here again when I’m back in town!

We eat quite a bit of pasta all around the world and cook a lot of it as well. At least when we went, the pasta was al dente and sauces were all well seasoned and flavorful. The pasta really did taste like it was made day of. I had the green spinach tagliatele americano verdi which was spectacular. Sauce was sautéed with onions, butter and bacon then tossed into the home made taliatele. It was very al dente and perfect. Although the butter/bacon sauce was on the richer side, it really was well balanced and didnt feel heavy/over the top. My Wife had the tagliolini arabiatta and let me just say that again the pasta tasted so light weight, al dente and fresh. The sauce was light, fresh and flavorful with a touch of hot peppers. We were so impressed we thought about ordering the ravioli(recommend by them) to share! They tell you which pastas they make in house daily and which ones they don’t, which is nice. Outdoor seating is great for people watching. Eating, drinking and just lounging and watching! They have an indoor seating area up stairs but we didnt make it up there. I believe it’s clean and modern. Defin. a strong recommended place to have solid fresh pasta!

Pasta Divina c’est un endroit pour une petite assiette de pâtes rapide dans le quartier touristique de la capitale. C’est un bon point parce que dans ce quartier, on est plus souvent dans le fast food jetable… Leur concept c’est la combinaison sur mesure des pasta. Tout d’abord, on choisit la forme des pâtes. Y’en a des courtes, des longues, et même des fourrées. Ensuite on choisit la sauce, parmi une dizaine de possibilités. Cela va des plus classiques comme la carbonara, aux plus grasses comme la sauce aux quatre fromages(je soupçonne cette sauce de comprendre non seulement des fromages et de la crème mais aussi du beurre…), en passant par les sauces réservées aux puristes(ayoyo — aglio e alio — ail et huile quoi). Moi j’aime bien leur sauce tomate avec de la ricotta. Le prix varie en fonction des pâtes choisies: 12.50 pour les courtes, 13.50 pour les longues, et 14.50 pour les fourrées. Avec une dizaine de pâtes différentes et une dizaine de sauces au choix, ça vous laisse du temps pour tester toutes les combinaisons possibles. Et il y a aussi les plats qui né sont pas disponibles tous les jours. Là, pas question de choisir la forme des pâtes: la sauce est faite spécialement pour se marier avec le type de pâtes retenu par le cuistot. C’est un cran plus sophistiqué et c’est un cran plus cher. En résumé, Pasta Divina c’est très bon, c’est rapide, et c’est un poil trop cher pour ce que c’est(le pain et le parmesan sont en supplément par exemple). Mais après tout, on est sur les gros pavés bruxellois à deux pas de la Grand Place. Une fois votre repas terminé, il né tient qu’à vous d’aller revoir une des plus belles places d’Europe et de vous émerveiller.

When staying in Brussels, you must eat here! The location is just a few blocks away from Grote Market and was down the street from my apartment. The pasta is divine! It’s freshly made by the mother of the Italian family who owns the place. You first choose your pasta then your sauce. I went with the pesto and my goodness, it was incredible! My mom had the carbonara and loved it. Make sure to make reservations as seating is limited.

Ce petit restaurant italien propose des pâtes fraîches maison(attention pas toutes! ¾ sont maison) accompagnées d’une sauce au choix. L’accueil est très sympa. Les plats sont bons. L’endroit très touristique peut rebuter, pourtant si vous voulez manger de bonnes pâtes, n’hésitez pas! Autre petit conseil: le vin du patron(blanc ou rouge) est pas mauvais du tout(loin de la piquette habituellement servie comme vin du patron dans de nombreux établissements). J’y retournerai volontiers!

Ambiance cosi… Fetuccini saumon courgette pour Madame, Tagliatelle au épinards lardons pour Monsieur… Le tout fait maison par la patronne qui est une cuisinière hors pair et servi par le patron et ses enfants qui sont vraiment aux petits soins pour vous rendre le repas aussi agréable qu’il est délicieux! Né ratez pas non plus la carte des desserts avec un Tiramisu fait maison qui est a tomber!!! N’hésitez pas a réserver a l’avance(ce que nous avions fait) car nous avons été un mardi soir et tout le restaurant(qui n’est pas très grand) était réservé. Nous en tous cas on y retournera!

Das Restaurant ist ein super Geheimtipp. Das Essen ist ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus, ich habe noch nie so leckere Pasta gegessen, und das auch noch bei der Auswahl, genial! :-) Auch die Bedienung super freundlich, ein echter Italiener. Die Preise waren für Brüssel angemessen und vor allem eins, jeden Cent wert!

Pasta Diviana hat mich begeistert. In diesem netten Laden direkt an der Ecke der Rue da la Mantagne und des Grasmarks bekommt man nichts als Pasta (außer Brot und Getränke natürlich). Man wählt zunächst zwischen Nudeln in allerlei Formen und Varianten. Alle werden von la Mamma höchst selbst handgemacht. Dazu wählt man dann die Soße ob Tomaten– oder Käsesoße, es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Eben diesen Geschmack kann ich nur in höchsten Tönen loben!

I admit, I found this place on Trip Advisor(don’t hate me, but I’m the first to review it here!) It is rated the #1 restaurant in Brussels on TA, so though I’d give it a shot! For a VERY good reason. Despite it’s location to the main plaza area, it is NOT a tourist trap! There are so many tourist trap places around that area, but this is a diamond in the rough It is a husband and wife team, the pasta is handmade daily by the wife, and the husband is outside serving. Sat on the sidewalk, there were about 5 tables in all outside, and a dining room upstairs. English menus are helpful for us English speakers! :) You select the style of pasta(at least 10 different styles, ranging in price… bit more expensive for stuffed pastas) and you select your sauce(also about 10 choices). All homemade! I had a pork stuffed ravioli with this Parmesan sauce that was outrageously good. Was so fresh, and the sauce was soooo cheesy! Mmmmmmmmm! Definitely the real deal. I don’t remember what we had for dessert, but there was a few choices. I hope to come back to Brussels soon, and this will be my first stop for dinner!
