Apartmentsapart

A group of 4 of us stayed at an apartment offered by ApartmentsApart during February of this year. I found them on TripAdvisor and the reviews were very promising. Being that there were 4 of us, two rooms at any halfway decent hotel would’ve cost us a lot more than just renting an apartment so we took a chance.
I’m glad we did because we absolutely loved where we ended up staying. I can’t remember exactly what the apartment was called (they all have names and numbers) but we were a few minutes walk from the Grand Place and across the street from THE most amazing frites shop I’ve ever tasted in my life.
Our apartment had two bedrooms, one with a full bed and one with two twin beds, as well as a futon in the livingroom. There were high celings and a full kitchen. The only thing that would’ve made it better would’ve been to have two bathrooms instead of the 1 but we made do. Towels are provided but all other amenities should supplied by yourself. They did have things like dish washing liquids and such so don’t worry about household things.
They offer WiFi for a small fee, which we didn’t take advantage of since we were only there for a few days. This was a small building with only one apartment on each floor so there were no huge noise issues with our neighbors, but the street downstairs by the frites shop was a happening place during the nighttime. Apparently the frites shop is opened at all hours of the day/​night and plenty of drunken people like to hang out there.
There are like 2 – 3 supermarkets in the surrounding area so there is never a problem getting things like eggs, juice, water, etc… just remember that almost everything is closed on Sundays so stock up before then!
Had a great experience with ApartmentsApart and would definitely use them again in other countries.
