Noodle Lovers

Noodle Lovers is a small take-​away (although they do have a couple of tables) Asian joint. Barely noticeable against the enormous, whooshing, eight-​lane Gympie road, you’ve probably driven by it a hundred times without noticing. It looks pretty dingy on the outside, to be honest, but I suspect that’s just a side effect of being located right on a huge main road frequented by trucks and buses ²⁴⁄₇.
Although Noodle Lovers doesn’t look like anything special, I first decided to give it a go a few years back because my favourite sushi place is in the same little complex and looks almost equally sketchy but is amazing. Noodle Lovers didn’t surprise me and go against my expectations like Sakura (the sushi place) did, but it was decent enough. Nothing fancy. Cheap, Pan Asian cuisine in generous portions and ready quickly. I wouldn’t eat there unless you enjoy exhaust fumes with your meal. The menu is lengthy and includes all kinds of noodle dishes and other Asian dishes. The cuisine of origin varies so it’s basically your generic Asian takeaway. If you were walking past and wanted some takeaway for dinner, it’s a worthwhile stop. I wouldn’t go out of my for Noodle Lovers, but I wouldn’t write them off either.
