This is my local. (I’m not sure that terminology works for a service station instead of a bar, but insofar as it does, then it is, so buttons.)
It’s independent, wich I like because Coles & Woolworths own the damn world right now — and throw James Packer into the mix and that’s pretty much Australia right there — and the mechanic seems like a nice guy. They’ve fixed my car a few times and it was A-​OK, my one gripe is one time I asked to be called with a run-​down of repairs and costs before they were done, and I got called when the car was ready without my request having been accommodated, denying me the opportunity to say ‘yes’ to this and ‘no’ to that.
Next time, I guess.
