You go to Harbour Town if you don’t mind wearing end of season or last season gear, but at a heavily discounted price. I have come to expect very little in customer service in these type of stores in Australia. So, I was delighted this week when I visited Williams Outlet in HarbourTown. I don’t like wearing shoes and if I can I avoid doing so at every opportunity. Don’t get me wrong, I am not one of those ferals you see walking the streets or shops barefoot. But at home or at friend’s house I try to go barefoot when I can. This means I prefer comfy shoes that can easily be put on or taken off. I walked into Williams not really expecting to find anything as I am a size 11 womens. In Perth if you are a size 11 you really need to shop right at the beginning of the season and even then it can be a matter of luck. I found several pairs of size 11 shoes, all grouped together. Yay. In outlet stores putting shoes together by size is the only way to go. I can immediately see what they have and don’t get my hopes up waiting for the staff to check if they have my size or not. Already I have found one pair of shoes, in my size, comfy, real leather and not ugly. Even better they were on sale for under $ 25. This was not a unknown cheap brand either, the shoes were Diana Ferrari. Then a sales assistant came and asked me if I was looking for Size 11 shoes. She knew that they were hard to find. She then asked me what kind of shoe I wanted. A minute later she had reappeared from out the back with several boxes in her hands. One pair was a beautiful pair of Colorado sandals. Once again they fit, real leather and comfy. Even better they too were also under $ 25. The whole thing took 5 minutes. I walked away with 2 pairs of shoes for around $ 50 and a big grin of my face. To the sales assistant who helped me, I wish I got your name. Thank you for making my day.
