I am drafting this as I wait for my meal beyond the time advised by Menulog. I arrive at the time sent via SMS and the manager saying that Menulog only advised her of the order as I walked in. The second time I have had to wait beyond the time advised. Another restaurant had me waiting nearly two hours and blamed it on Menulog.
TIP: DON’T USE MENULOG
But I fell for the online ordering system again. Next time I’ll phone in the order. Anyway. The manager gets the food to me as fast as possible and includes a few free poppadoms for my trouble. It was only 10 mins extra wait time. The Biryani was delightful. Well balanced, beautiful flavours of ginger, chilli, cumin, cardamon etc. Served with cucumber raita, it was a complete meal. I added a side salad at home to freshen things up. It didn’t have the fatty mouthfeel and there was enough for another meal for lunch. Definitely going back!
