Definitely the most highly recommended breakfast/lunch joint in the area. By the water, indoor/outdoor seating, with all of the regular meal options, friendly staff and a full bar. We had eggs, BLT’s, bloody mary’s, milkshakes, etc, and all were excellent. I’d recommend this place.

Lovely atmosphere with sweet music, flowers on each table and bouncing boats in the bay beside us. A little slow with the service and no water for our table. But it’s our only complaint, the food was tasty and filling. We’re glad this is the place we chose for our Sunday lazy morning breakfast.

Location is amazing! Service slow and not that great. Also food lacked a little zing!

The Pavilion Café & Bar is probably your best bet for breakfast in Warnambool. Almost all tables have panoramic views of the ocean. It’s worth coming here just to have a coffee and watch the sea. The menu is your typical brunch fare and while it isn’t a place that you’ll be wowed by the food, it is very solid given that you’re in a regional town. The pancakes with macadamia nuts was a definite winner and kept me full for the long drive back to Melbourne. Service was prompt and friendly — note you pay at the counter here.

We stopped at Warrnambool, a small costal town, spent the night then came to Pavilion Café & Bar for breakfast before heading back to Melbourne. What a fantastic experience! The food Is and was out of this world. Fresh, tasty, appealing and like a party in your mouth! A must for anyone visiting this past of the world :-)

This café is a popular breakfast place right on the waters edge near the breakwater. The food is great. The staff are friendly and the coffee is one of only two places I’d recommend in warrnambool for a coffee that won’t disappoint(Bright bird in Liebig Street being the other place). If you’re on a break, definitely head down here for a sea side breakfast and friendly locals.
