Can’t say much about the food it’s pretty bad but sometimes you’ll get something average. If you’re there for a drink try to keep it to beer glasses are always dirty and the music is on a playlist 5 long been going to the Irish far to long following friends but now I can’t be bothered

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. I was wandering around Know City one Saturday afternoon(which I have to admit is a really, really long way out of my way) on a little bit on an expore when I came across this pub right next to the Village Cinemas. My first though was ‘excellent location’. Any pub that is next to a cinema is a good pub as far as I’m concerned, especially since one can grab a beer while waiting for the film to start. As an Irish pub it isn’t all that bad, similarly with the fact that it is a shopping centre pub(most shopping centre pubs I’ve encountered are pretty dull). It had a lively atmosphere and friendly staff, and an outdoor area out the front(mostly for smokers). I quite liked the place, to it is a bit too far for me to travel just for a drink.

I like this place. It has a nice irish feel with good everyday specials. The meals are also big enough to share.

We’ve been frequenting ‘The Irish Pub’ for years and have always found it a pleasant location to enjoy casual dining and a drink(if you’re so inclined). We go for lunch on week days, about three times per month. All meals are generous and consistently well prepared, presented and tasty. If you’re a senior, the choice and price is great value and, the meals are not smaller portions. The daily ‘specials’ are also good value, our last meal was the satisfying ‘Irish Flat Breads’(pizza) normally cost up to $ 18 for $ 10(Monday special) Coffee is always $ 1.95 before noon. You have the choice of sitting inside on stools at the barrel tables, in booths, at standard tables or outside ‘al fresco’ on bar stools and bench tables. It’s a destination for us. Our daytime experiences have always been positive. We even take our friends there. I can’t comment on evenings/nights.

We will often stop here for a quick drink after shopping or before a movie. It’s one of the few places around with a ‘pub’ atmosphere — not an RSL atmosphere. Their meals are good and reasonably priced, traditional pub grub. Drinks aren’t the worst either. On Wednesdays they have karaōke which is always fun(and busy) so be prepared to wait to sing but he’ll definitely get you up. You see, there’s not a whole lot else to do in Knox on a Wednesday which is why people are here! It’s a popular local joint. It’s also very popular with 18 and 19 year olds or year 12 students but it’s never felt like a high school party to me. I’ve never been to Lulus across from The Irish but that place reeks of fingering and dry hump. They always have security on to man the door, take your ID if you’re young, don’t be a twat and just have fun.

Seamus O’Tool, or The Irish as some people call it, is a wonderful place to grab a bite to eat with your friends and in some circumstances family! The available meals in The Irish is well prices and are huge in portion. Their signature dish, the Chicken Parma, is amazingly delicious and is perfect for a good evening feed after a hard days at work! Getting a drink here is also a fairly nice experience, to a certain extent. The Irish hosts many night activities which, often, can get very crowded and disgusting especially since the floors and walls are made of wood. Obviously, after hours and hours of partying the place ultimately becomes slightly sticky from all the spilled drinks and can just result in a fairly unpleasant experience. This problem, however, can easily be negated by coming in before the chaos arrives, probably sometime before 7pm. The staff is reasonably well presented and is friendly. It is rare to come across an employee that is rude or unpleasant to deal with. Overall, The Irish is a place where you’d want to check out. It’s nothing ‘flash’ but the wooden feel of the place makes for a nice dining experience. It may not be for everyone but if you want to find a place with a nice wooden vibe, good food and good drinks The Irish is the place to go.

Hanging out with some of the boys having not seen them for a while and the general consensus of the group was to have chicken parmas for dinner. Someone in the group had been here before and highly recommended the chicken parma so we all agreed and made the drive down. As you would expect from a bar it’s loud and noisy and you order everything at the bar. The wait wasn’t too long but longer than I expected for a bar. The chicken param was decent, chips were a little under cooked and the salad seemed fresh. I wasn’t overly impressed as the rest were but still a decent chicken parma at a decent price. I’d recommend for anyone wanting a filling meal whilst on a budget.

«The Irish» at Knox is a hugely popular place to go and drink on a weekend. From early in the arvo it starts to fill up, with the punters overflowing out the door into the open-air area out the front. It’s noisy, its packed, and everyone is ready to wash a way the week with pint after pint. With the cost of these said pints being quite low, it’s a nice change from the overpriced eating areas surrounding this pub. The food is really good value aswell, with pizzas, parmas and other pub grub costing under $ 10-$ 15 a meal, saving you more money to spend over the bar. Although it’s quite wild after dark on weekends, an arvo pot and some food in the sun out front is a great way to spend the day if in the area. I recommend sitting outside though, as it seems the inside stinks of spilt, stale beer most of the time. The service is great and the Irish is also a good place to get a cheap dinner in before paying a ridiculous price to see a movie next door.

This place is fantastic. It’s super, super cheap, even for a normal pub meal. Hotdog and chips is like $ 6ish, and it’s a full plate. I really love this place. The atmosphere is like a very busy pub, often with live bands and various acts. There’s an Irish band on Sunday afternoons if that’s what you’re into, and there is always plenty of beer on tap to be had. I usually grab a chicken schnitzel, and I’m always pleased with it. The serving sizes are really generous. There’s an outdoor beer garden in the front of the place, and it’s a really nice place to have a drink with your mates on a sunny day. Recommend.

I found this little pub, located in Knox, when I tagged along for a party one night. Boy am I glad I did! The food was fantastic. It’s your typical pup style meals, but the prices are unbelievably cheap. We are talking $ 12 for a chicken parmigiana. Surprisingly, the servings are quite big too. It’s not just the parmas that are cheap at this little gem, whether you’re after steak, fish, or just a bowl of chips and garlic bread, you wont pay more than $ 15. As you would expect with an Irish pub, the drinks are aplenty, and there is lots of variety. The Irish is also often home to live entertainment. It can get a bit rowdy, but if you have a group you can book the room upstairs which is much quieter.

Seamus McPeake’s Irish Pub is the local pub for the residents of Knox and surrounds. Hidden away in a corner of Knox City Shopping Centre’s Knox Ozone, it is a small venue which has the energy more commonly found in venues of the inner city. Among locals it is called«The Irish». A traditional irish pub in every sense it sports dark wooden furniture and a few booths at the back — perfect for a catch-up with mates. There are little nooks and crannies in every corner with all kinds of seating from bar stools, to benches to seats that double as small tables. Service is quick, but not quick enough when it comes to keeping the place clean — it is pretty grimy and the chances that someone will spill a drink on you are pretty high so I would caution against wearing your best clothes. Dress code is smart casual — just keep it simple. Entry is only $ 5 and drinks are relatively cheap too which is always a good thing. The place is busiest on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and because of its size is packed full pretty quickly. There is an outdoor smokers area, which is tiny but it doesn’t seem to deter patrons from crushing against each other in order to secure themselves some room out there. The dance floor is tiny but again, when there is a will there is a way and there are a lot of very willing dancers here. Patrons range in age from the very young to the very old although there tends to be more males than females.
