Fantastic home style Balkan food just like my grandmother used to make. Service is a little slow but this is more than compensated by friendly service and quality food. The cevapcici is fantastic and the Burek selections are great.

Great neighborhood place. Lovely food and welcoming staff. We are looking at buying a house and thought we would check out the cafes. Not disappointed. Now to buy the house.

Its Saturday morning and you want a low key but good value breakfast. You also need a few grocery items but don’t want to subject yourself to the chaos of the supermarket. Say ‘howdy’ to Bien, a welcome solution to all your café/deli/greengrocer needs! The highlight of a unsuspecting suburban shopping strip this café is at odds with its location in Greville Road. But for those in the know Bien is a destination in itself. The small café has seating both inside and out so set yourself up at a table and order from the friendly and fabulous staff. The glass counter provides you with inspiration for breakfast or lunch with quiches, antipasto, foccacia, slices or order from the menu. While you wait either get stuck into a newspaper or browse the shop. The back area is home to delicious sweets like baklava, crisp thin pizza bases, fresh dips, cheeses and yoghurt just to name a few. You can choose your fill of fruit and vegetables or select jams, pasta, sauces and other goodies from the grocery selection. Bien is the type of store that I head into to grab a quick takeaway coffee on a weekday morning, but find myself leaving with a random purchase or two that is always fresh and tasty. This is my local secret, although not for much longer!
