This Woolworths should be bulldozed and turned into sheep holding facility because thats how I feel when I shop here. As a supermarket this place is useless. Every time I visit this store I am forced to line up for ages just to get served. The lines are longer then the ones at Centrelink. The shopping experience is made even worse when I see unnamed counters from the the line I am stuck in. Fortunately I don’t shop here often, if I did I would have had to of had my varicose veins taken out by now. The overworked staff are always polite and apologetic about about to long waits. The management of this store need to pull their heads in!!!

Went in here today, not the best lay out and to navigate around, cold section is one end of the store to the other, Limited bread selection also. Pay to get a trolley? Also ticket parking outside in there car park, these down sides wont get me rushing back, I had business in the area so I can live with it.

This is my local big supermarket, so I’m quite biased when it comes to recommending it. Their fruit and veg section is usually well stocked(but if you’re after cheaper herbs, go next door to the Vic Park Fruit and Veg store). I have been let down in the past with the quality of the Macro chicken range(going off before the use by date), but they also stock Mount Barker’s chicken which is always fresh. Their deli section is well stocked, and they have a steady supply of cooked BBQ chickens for those evenings you can’t be bothered cooking. I also love their range of Emily’s Kitchen ready-to-cook meals next to the milk fridge. A massive selection of pasta-based meals, including a lot of vegetarian options. Their bakery section is not as big as some other stores, but they make a delicious range of sourdough loaves(which sell out quickly!). There is a fridge near the baked goods area which has small cakes and macarons as well. I love the convenience of self-serve checkouts, especially when you only have a few items. The queues can get very busy at the end of the day, on Sunday afternoons in particular. Please remember to get a free 2h parking ticket when you park at the centre, as you will get fined if you don’t have a ticket displayed on your dash(speaking from experience here…).
