It says a lot about what Australians have come to expect from their local south-east Asian inspired takeaways when a business advertises as having«NOMSG Added». But then again, maybe it is important to know that information. Noodle Bowl in Upper Mount Gravatt is the takeaway in question. Excelling in everything from noodles to rice, Noodle Bowl is just another one of your suburban takeaways. The menu choices are quite basic and common; black bean, satay, teriyaki and honey soy flavours enhance most of the options. And of course the special and combination fried rice’s take pride in the menu. I’ll give it to Noodle Bowl, the food was quite tasty. Strong garlic flavours were the most prominent in the meals, and a little bit of chilli only made it tastier. Unfortunately the food was soggy, and the meat of poor quality. As a plus Noodle Bowl is very cheap, ten dollars will get you a large main meal and no meal itself is over $ 14. The Banquet options provide the best value, offering two mains, fried rice, an entrée and prawn crackers. I’ll probably visit Noodle Bowl again, but if I don’t I won’t mind.
