Came here for a quick lunch with a friend and thought we’d try something a little more fancy than the food court for our catch up. We waited 30mins for salads at lunch, which I think is not ideal. I’m trying to find something remarkable to talk about but I can’t put my finger on anything. Overall it was ok, probably pretty expensive for what it was. The chicken we had was super moist and cooked really well, prawn salad didn’t come with the torn bread as labelled on the menu but it was ok.

Our favorite restaurant in Brisbane. The food is elegant and it’s always a difficult decision to go with a known favorite or try something new. Mains are in the order of $ 28 — $ 36 range, but it’s also BYO wine with bottle shops nearby in toowong.

Mariosarti is a beautiful, understated little restaurant in the heart of Toowong. With not too many other fine dining options around, I’d overlooked the Toowong shops as a place to eat. Mariosarti, however, changed my opinion. From the front, Mariosarti appears to be quite small; surprisingly, however, they can seat 70 people. It’s an intimate space with excellent service and good quality Italian food. As with most fine dining, the portions are small, but full of flavour. I ordered the calf’s liver as entrée and the entrée-sized gnocchi with lamb ragu for main. Both were delicious and left me feeling just satisfied, not over-full. For dessert I had the delicious and cleansing«Torta Al Limone». With a glass of wine, expect to pay around $ 65, although I ate relatively lightly, so allow a little more for full-sized mains. Mariosarti is a beautiful place for a special occasion, not be overlooked. Note: no fixed closing time in the evenings. Call ahead to ensure a place.
