I find this store name so funny, corny yes, but funny anyway. A restaurant name that makes me smile before I even order is off to a good start. A few weeks back I had a group of friends over. We tried to go into Southbank for dinner and could not get a park. How bizarre and completely annoying! We did laps of the street and all the car parks were full. After over an hour we gave up headed back home near starving at this point. As we were driving down Wynnum road, Get it India appeared from over the hill like an oasis in the dessert. Because we were so hungry we each ordered a dish and a large rice. You can smell the dishes from the kitchen, just mouth-watering. The Butter Chicken and Malai Tikka are my favourites and the servings are really generous. The Lamb Khorma is nice, just the right amount of spice. I am not a huge fan of the seafood dishes but the breads are delicious and are perfect to dip into the sauces. They are cooked in a traditional clay tandoori oven which adds heaps of flavour. Not the most up market dine-in area although it is a nice atmosphere and great for a low-key meal out.
