Urban Tadka is quite impressive as far as the place is concerned, it’s a nicely located, big inside, nice atmosphere, slightly upmarket in terms of décor & style. Good if you had a party of people. The staff were polite & tentative although but the meal did take a while to come out so service was therefor just ok. Prices are not cheap & I felt the staff were trained to try & make you order as much as possible to push the bill up. Food was good, but no onion Bahji on offer here,(strange & disappointing) no mixed grill platters(also strange) good variety on Nan breads, but all in all, I don’t think the menu hits the mark for what your paying in here ! Sweets … Never bothered !

Not a huge fan of Indian restaurants until I went here Seriously the herbs and spices and the cooking of amazing meals is worth every cent plus more The menu — wow you can come back again and again and again and again and again and still be trying new dishes Cocktails — excellent entrée — Lamb cutlets — wow the spices were amazing Main meals — land and fish with Roti bread and saffron rice — mmmmmm Dessert — a bit of a let down but hey that’s not an issue beer — Indian of course — goes well with a curry! Menu — excellent Service — excellent Food — Excellent Ambience — you’re hear to eat but yes the place has a good feel to it Price — great value The best thing about the place — it’s too far away for the rest of Sydney to come to ;)

Sydney! No one has reviewed this place? Considering this place is quite sort after and always comes up as one of the best Indian restaurants on various forums. Same hype and few recommendations took us to this place. The place is upscale. beautiful ambiance with the warm dim lighting… And tasteful décor. Food was fine. Nothing particular stood out… We ordered veggie kebab(don’t remember the the name of the dish) and chicken tikka for starters. For mains we tried rajasthani lamb, Hyderabadi style cooked chicken and another chicken curry. with dal makhni. The food was all nice but nothing memorable really. very forgettable for me. But yes! If it’s those special occassions this is a really good place. Has the charm, clutter and noisy happy vibes for sure!
