I’ve known about it from livinng westside forever but gave it a go for home delivery recently. It was ok Chinese food but for $ 15 – 17 dishes they need to lift their game above food court standards…

Don’t go here. Ever.
They tried to give my 6 year old daughter window cleaner in her lemonade. They then tried to pass it off as just still being soapy from cleaning. Soap doesn’t smell like window cleaner.

Sunfay has existed for as long as I can remember, and after all these years– it still looks like the same tacky Chinese restaurant that it was 10 years ago. Regardless of how dated, this place is, it is a pretty good for takeaway Chinese food.
Everything I have eaten from here has tasted fine, just typical Chinese food really. One thing that I do remember not liking about it this place was only receiving a few scallops in a scallop stir-​fry dish. I can not explain in words how much that annoys me. The chicken and beef dishes however, were not as stingy.
I have never experienced service being as bad as Lizan’s. It is not the greatest service in the world, but it does the trick.
I would not write home about this Chinese restaurant, nor would I travel from far away to get there. If you live in the area though, you might as well give this place a go.

Ever heard the phrase first impressions last? That was my take here, we’ve only been once though if that means anything at all.
We came in here at 1pm on a Saturday and the place was empty. We actually thought they were closed, we actually waited by the front door and knocked because we weren’t sure if we should enter the house-​like restaurant or not. Anyway, we went in.
After figuring out we were in the restaurant, the waiter ushered us to a table of our choice about 10 minutes after we’d been standing around wondering where everyone was… then the wait continued. We sat there. hungry and alone for 20 minutes before we decided to call it quits. Busy or not busy I don’t care… we stood up and left, they probably figured it out hours after the fact, maybe they forgot we were even there.
Either way we were pretty sure they didn’t see us leave… not too happy about this experience. Whether the food is awesome or not… we will never know. And haven’t been back.
