I originally came here because my washing machine broke, but have decided to just keep using the laundromat instead of fixing the stupid thing. It’s inexpensive, I can do huge loads of washing and pop it straight into the dryer afterwards and it gives me an excuse to sit down and read a book for 40 minutes during my day. Their online system, while a bit clunky, is super useful because I never carry coins, so thank god for that. As far as the machines go, they are excellent but I really do wish we could use our own detergent, as I’ve never been a fan of the stock standard stuff they give you for free, and if you have heavily soiled clothes you’re best off soaking it overnight, hand washing, soaking then bringing it in.
