Great place to eat healthy salad. You have choice to take small salad(if you aren’t too angry because it’s very light), normal or proteins salad. You can take smoothie with protein power or not. I took the basic salads with a great smoothie(berry, banana, cranberry).

Healthy food, great choices where you can have as little or as much as you want. The coffee is nice & strong without tasting bitter & the toast is crispy & tasty. The breakfast bowl is the perfect way to start the day, with a choice of protein, veggies & sides. Be as creative as you want! Yum!

THR1VE is amazing! Everything about it is perfect… I’m so addicted! If I worked in the CBD I’d go every day. I’d probably feel super motivated to workout, too, since everyone who eats and works here looks like they stepped out of a Crossfit commercial or fitness magazine. #gymspirational! My favorite is the Get Smart bowl, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Seriously, there is nothing unhealthy here. I also love their chicken and beef broth. It’s perfect when you’re feeling chilly and you need a little warmth in your tummy, or when you’re feeling sick. I think all of the smoothies are great, especially the Green Mango. Best of all, there’s something for everyone! Even if you’re not hardcore healthy, you can still make yourself a customized bowl and leave without having to eat heaps of cruciferous vegetables. The possible combinations of meats/veggies/bases/sauces is seemingly limitless, so you’ll never get bored. Price wise, I don’t think the meals are unreasonable for the quality of the food you’re getting. It’s better to spend $ 14 at THR1VE than any of the other Westfield food court places. The food comes out pretty quickly, too. Maybe a lot of it is pre-made, but that’s not a huge problem because everything still tastes fresh. I give huge props to the creators of THR1VE for executing such an ambitious restaurant idea. The world would be much better off with more truly healthy options widely available. I really hope it *thrives* and continues to grow.

My usj(usg? usze?) spot for lunch– go here at least a few times a week as it’s super close to my work and I like to pretend I’m paleo. The get strong is my current fave– sweet potato bake, beef patty, boiled egg, spinach and tomato sauce and mustard– really hits the spot. I’ve also bought way too many salted caramel smoothies but hold the chia seeds and add cacao– not sure if I’ve been pretending to be paleo for too long but it tastes like a chocolate thick shake to me! Docked a star as the sweet potato mash is really watery(the sweet potato bake is great though) and its a pretty pricey lunch– especially as the servings aren’t ginormous– doesn’t stop me going back though!

Finally, a purely gluten free eatery in Sydney! I come here at least a few times a week because it’s so good. Their primal toast is delish — probably the best g-free I’ve ever had. They have a big variety of breakfast foods and even serve zucchini«noodles”/strips. Although I haven’t tried it yet, I suspect the mountain coffee is really good because A LOT of people get it. Can be a long line on weekday mornings but it never takes too long. My only complaint is that portions and cutlery are a bit inconsistent — but not docking a star because they are still new and that happens with new eateries. Definitely recommend!

Love! It is one of my go-to places for lunch as I work in the city. A great selection of healthy, delicious meals. My personal favourites are the Beef and Salmon bowls. Yet to try their smoothies which I have heard are pretty on point too!

As a health freak, I totally respect what they serve here. Got the green mango and berry smoothie, both tasted like what healthy smoothies should taste like. Moreso the green mango as it tasted like grass, but it was nice knowing I got my veggies in for a meal. :)

Scrumptious sounding smoothies but it came out wayyyyy too watery, almost like melted froyo? The salted caramel smoothie(dates, bananas, sea salt, cashew butter) was also much too salty and surprisingly, couldn’t taste either of the main ingredients that are typically quite strong flavors. Baffling. the berry plus(mixed berries, coconut butter, acai, vanilla bean and organic honey) was sour?! Not sure how that happened since there’s even honey in it! It also wasn’t blended sufficiently so it had far too many chunks n seeds. We were only able to stomach about half cause we didn’t want to waste it but it was pretty hard to swallow. Plus, near 7 $ for about 16 oz made it even slightly harder. Great that they use organic and have healthy options but the smoothies were less than delicious… Perhaps the food is better? Well, at least we got inspiring smoothie recipe ideas :)

Not going to write an essay about my experience, will make some key points: — Thr1ve is only place I get excited about buying lunch in the city — Suits my goals, lifestyle, budget — Tasty food — Good service — Only place I will patiently wait in line to buy food Recommendations: — Iceman coffee: if you like Iced Coffee you will like this. — Chicken pesto lunch bowl with greens and mash

I loved this place before it was cool, back when there were no lines and my food would be ready in under 2 minutes. Now all the city workers have caught onto it and congest up the place, so they introduced a velvet rope setup to deal with the line chaos. Now, I love a velvet rope as much as Lisa Simpson, but having it split the area up into 3 lines where you have to choose a line isn’t very fair, because you always get stuck behind some dope who hasn’t figured out what they want, and need to ask about EVERYTHING, but in that time someone who arrived 10 minutes after you is getting served in the line next to you. It’s a bit better now they have EFTPOS and you don’t have all these people being like«OMGCASH? THAT’S SO90s» and wasting your time. Seriously, everyone should form 1 line between the ropes, and whoever is next goes to whatever register is next free. But I guess it’s better than when jerks in their suits would pretend to not see you and try to push in because the line just used to be a clusterf*ck of people who were either lining up, just loitering, or can’t be bothered to move over to the service area after making their order. The food is pretty great, except for when they run out of everything and don’t tell you but when you order something they’re like«no we don’t have this one ingredient» and it’s the same for every other thing you choose from. But seriously, the food is pretty delish, I’m a bit skeptical that it’s always prepared so that the nutritional info is accurate, but I haven’t gained weight since I started eating there, so that’s a good sign. It can get pretty expensive though, especially because I like adding broccoli to everything. But I’m never hungry after their food, especially the steak. I only ever order entrée size but I swear they fit a cow in there, it’s amazing. Their smoothies are pretty great too, depending on who’s making them. If it’s the dude who looks like Chris Hemsworth then they taste fabulous, if it’s one of the other dudes they can be pretty disappointing. But that may just be because of the dreamboat you sail away on while Hemsworth makes your smoothie. Oh, and whatever you do, don’t get the Iceman Coffee. Protein powder, and coffee, no. Just no. I threw up half way through it. Seriously, it was lucky I had drank half of it so I had something with space to throw up into.

Hands down the best healthy lunch spot in the CBD. With the Paleo craze taking the globe by storm, it’s no surprise that this spot is cleaning up with their paleo friendly goods. Even if you’re not paleo(I’m not) you can still appreciate the simple, fresh and healthy menu choices. Breakfast options here are delicious and friendly for any dieter’s menu– veggies and eggs(egg whites optional) and a side of bacon are my typical go– to. Unlike most places you don’t finish breakfast feeling greasy from the bacon and eggs! For lunch all of their lunch bowls are amazing, but the best is probably the grass-fed minute steak. Perfectly seasoned and a great portion size, and for $ 12.50 very reasonably priced in my opinion. The sweet potato and cauliflower mash that accompany the dish are also good(and taste like you’re eating mashed potatoes!) Don’t fear the long line– the folks behind the counter here are super quick and efficient and I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes for my food, even at peak lunch times.

Unique. Super healthy. They have all the fun superfoods; bee pollen, maca, performance greens, raw cacao etc etc. Amazing mountain coffees(long black w/grass-fed butter)! I recommend the Exotic Date smoothie — dates, coconut butter, green coffee, cardamom, cinnamon, almond milk. Breakfast and lunch. Lunch gets busy. Cash only! I love these guys.

I have been to Thr1ve twice now, and the first time i ordered an entrée sized($ 8.50) lunch bowl with tasmanian salmon, brown rice and greens and the second time, i ordered the main size($ 12.50). The service was really fast. You order at the counter, and then you get a receipt and you pick up on the other side. As soon you order, you pick up your order in a second. The entrée size bowl has 1.5 pieces of salmon and the main has 3 pieces of salmon. I am counting calories at the moment and really conscious of what I am eating so it is great to find a lunch place in the city that sells BROWNRICE! Since i am counting calories, I needed to know how many grams of rice I was going to get, so the nice employee at Thr1ve went and measured it for me. If you get rice only it is 170g and if you get rice and salad it is 85g of rice. Anyway, back to the food! The food is hot and delicious. It is fresh and you feel great after eating it! There is no added anything(MSG, preservatives etc) so it is clean and healthy. The salmon was tasty(although it could be cooked a little less — it was a bit well done for me), the teriyaki dressing was great and the veggies fresh. Thr1ve is paleo style and also has almond milk coffees! I have had an almond milk latte which was great! I would really recommend Thr1ve for anyone who wants fresh, tasty and fast food!
