Having purchased my Ortho-K lenses from the eyecarecompany, I really don’t think the last review reflects their level of service in every product. Before I decided to finally do something about my vision which slowly deteriorated since the introduction of Facebook in my life in 2007, I was in denial about my slight blindness. I mean everyone can only see the bus when it’s 4 metres from the bus stop and the film director deliberately made people’s facial features blurred. It wasn’t my eyes, it was the world around me that was blurry, yes, yes, yes. As I psychologically refused to admit that I had myopia, Ortho-K seemed like a great solution. You wear the contacts only when you sleep and it apparently reshapes the cornea overnight so you have perfect vision for the whole day, or in my case for the next few days! NOGLASSES! No one will think I ruined my eyesight by checking out trashy myspace profiles! Having done my research on Ortho-K there aren’t too many optometrists who do specialise in it in Sydney. However, theeyecarecompany gave me the best price and were most knowledgeable about the product. The consultation and service they provided was fantastic. Griffin is really friendly and really knows his stuff on ortho-k. When your ortho-K lenses arrive they give you a very detailed tutorial on how to put in these super hard lenses and maintain them. After this you go back for the first week and then every three months. I can’t say anything about glasses here but if you are thinking about ortho-K I would definitely recommend the eyecarecompany, they know their stuff, are reasonably prices and very professional. It’s really great to be able to see clearly now the blur is gone. I can finally admit I can see all obstacles in my way! Thanks eyecarecompany.

I’ve been going to this location for over 2 years, and know that I’ve been paying a premium for both my contacts and glasses — but liked the service. However, I realize how much I’ve been paying is sometimes double the standard cost(glasses over $ 600 that cost between $ 150-$ 350 online) that I could get elsewhere for glasses and contacts and they also over-charge for things like contact solution and cleansers. I recently have had a horrible experience going there to get a diagnosis on my irritated left eye. I went there 3x in 3 weeks, and the diagnosis and treatment didn’t help me and I had to go to another optometrist that told me I had an eye ulcer and prescribed anti-biotics immediately. I’m so disappointed. :(Don’t go here.
