Today was the perfect day for a hot nourishing pasta. It’s a cold, grey, winters day with the sun refusing to make an appearance. My girlfriend and I ordered and paid at the bar and took a table number. Free to sit anywhere, we sat next to the bubbling fountain in the centre of the outdoor area. The food arrived piping hot. The pasta tasted even better then it looked. I had the pappardelle eggplant ragu with chilli and my friend had the prawn spaghetti. Both dishes were delicious. We couldn’t finish the large bowls of food and happily rolled back to the office with a tummy full of delicious comfort food. Fresh pasta prepared daily and cooked whilst you wait. Dine in or take away. Delicious rich sauces filled with flavour and served with a dusting of parmesan cheese. The Panini’s are yummy too. I’ve tried the haloumi and basil on rye bread. Loved the flavours but thought the thin slice of haloumi was a bit mean. Perhaps I’m just a bit over indulgent and enjoy the thick salty slices of cheesy goodness. Recommend going for the slow cooked meat Panini’s. Choice of 12 hour roast pork, lamb or wagyu beef. Wow.

Had lunch here today with my team at work and it was great. The venue is really nice and the service was good. We had the cold meat /bread /olives to start and the quality of the produce was excellent. I had the woodfired pizza with Proschetto for my main. The pizza was a bit too chewy(I consider Pizza e Biera in Surry Hills or Lucio Pizzeria in Darlinghurst to be the reference standard in Sydney). However, I still enjoyed it and the wine menu was very good too. To summarise, the quality of the venue, service and food was great all round.

Service was really good and 3 of the party of 6 really enjoyed their meal unfortunately 3 did not — ordered was the Fritto Misto: prawns were really greasy and the sardine was full of bones, I found this hard work to eat and feel the prawns were just dropped in fryer to allow to get that greasy — not feeling to well at all along with a colleague of mine. Wished I’d ordered the fish of the day — that looked lovely! 2 stars awarded for the service 3 lost for this meal.

Located at the Deutsche Bank Building, this restaurant is definitely a gem for CBD office workers. Tried their Tiger Prawns fettuccine and it was YUM. The hand made was al-denta(to my liking) and the tomato sauce wasnt too creamy or overpowering in taste. Love the finely diced green pepper and onion, a nice texture to the dish. Note: $ 2 extra for dine-in
