In my opinion this used to be a 5 star place. Now with their stupid rules and average coffee I don’t really see the point of going there. It’s now aiming for the tourist $$$$ rather than people that live within walking distance. Also they make it near impossible to buy anything with peanuts incase someone with an allergy comes in contact??? By that logic they shouldn’t sell anything as people can be allergic to anything!!! Far from impressed with this once brilliant establishment

We were overcharged for our meals(there was a $ 7 combo advertised on a sign we didn’t see after we’d paid full price for the same items — more than double), they refused to split one serving of hot chocolate for our two kids insisting our kids either share one cup or buy two servings, and were unwilling to adjust our bill to reflect the special. With so many good options on Darling Harbor, we’ll never come here again. And because of their rudeness, we are also going to spread details of this terrible experience far and wide among our Aussie and American friends and family. Edit: my food and my MILs were inedible too. Big loss for you Lindt.

I just walked cockle bay wharf after dinner with my lovely sister and she saw this new winter menu from Lindt chocolate café and we decided to try. (there goes my gym effort. Adding some butter and chocolate right at the end of the day after dinner…) Like we saw on the menu, we did order salted caramel waffles + hot chocolate combo. It cost us $ 24.5 for 1 combo… I was thinking this is misleading ads. Let me explain. First printed waffles, you will assumed 2 pieces or more … Came with 1 big waffle(that you can break into small pieces, of course.) and printed in the menu salted caramel waffles… I was expecting the salted caramel is coming from the waffle flavor. Not on the chocolate sauce . Well plain waffle with hint of vanilla, vanilla ice cream and salted chocolate sauce that we received. I will not put complaint against them through Australian Customer Commission or anything like that, but I just wanted to share with all Unilocalers so you know what product are you going to received before you decided to buy from this new winter menu

No. They took about 50 minutes to bring one milkshake, one coffee, some share platter and a waffle out. The service is terrible. They stood there talking to one another instead of working. There was one other table there!!! The coffee was burnt. The milkshakes taste like water. The waffle was ok… What chocolate do they use!!! It was terrible!!! It was fake syrup or some $/-/!!! Come on Lindt, don’t give yourself a bad name!!! I think I’ll stick to Max Brenner. They use real chocolate. Their coffees are nice, milkshakes thick and service impeccable!!! Maybe you should learn from Brenners how to make things worth while!!! Service 0⁄10 Food 2⁄10 Quality 1⁄10 Drinks 1⁄10 Prices are overcharged and quality is non existent! Would NOTRECOMMENDFORANYONE!

Right on the harbor behind statues of singing and dancing storks! The hot chocolate is great — you get a pot of chocolate and a thing of frothy milk and pour them together to make it to your liking. We also got the waffle(well-liked) and something(forgetting the name) with a chocolate biscuit covered in vanilla ice cream all within a chocolate dome — and when you pour the side pot of chocolate on top, the dome melts! Yummy and enjoyable to watch. Watch out for the birds though — they’re waiting to pounce on any food dropped or left behind.

Amazing place! Always a good experience with waiters. Exemplary service. Unlike the rude waitresses at guylian darling quarter! Must try a hot chocolate here!

The milk is warmed just right and so is the gooey brown liquid, once you mix them together they form the ultimate goodness… hot chocolate! Since I bought a voucher for a tasting platter for 2 and it expires tomorrow, hence my visit to this delightful venue. Tasting plate consisted of 2 flavored macrons, 3 Lindt balls, 2 brownies, icecream and a Choc cake with dark chocolate to pour over anything and everything! SUGAROVERLOAD! Only thing is there’s generally a line but you can expect that! I mean it’s chocolate!

I recall being really excited about coming to the Lindt café as we don’t have one at home… at least that’s what I’ve noticed. Lets just say I’m extremely disappointed. 1. The milk hot chocolate tasted like lindt chocolate, but it came out luke warm! Uh… shouldn’t hot chocolate be HOT? It is after all HOT chocolate and not LUKE warm chocolate. Kind of disappointed. That’s not the worst of it. 2. Shared plate of «yummy» chocolate goodies. Save your $$$. What they call their signature waffle dish is nothing but something between cardboard and a cracker. Chocolate doesn’t taste bad, but what they do to the chocolate is gross. Brownies bad, macaroons bad bad, waffle bad… 3. Milkshake is blended with ice and watered down. If you like watered down chocolate, this is the milkshake for you! It description states it’s decadent. Yeah… I think they should look up the word decadent before describing their milkshake in such a delicious fashion because it surely is not that. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. I’m not going to lie, it’s expensive and for the price of it all, I really expected better. Super disappointed, do not recommend to anyone(try another chocolate café in the city, might be better), and… to my #$%^ list you go!

It may be 8.30 on a Saturday night but a 40 min wait for a coffee and two scoops of ice cream is unacceptable. Avoid if it looks busy at all. Tourist trap. I’d give zero stars if that were possible.

Personally, i feel that lindt chocolates are too smooth thus lost the original texture of chocolate itself. I think the cakes are so so. But i quite like the macaroons though, especially the salted caramel

I love hot chocolate. Even during summer time, I still order hot chocolate. And by far, Lindt’s has the best hot chocolate I’ve had. It’s not your average hot chocolate — they serve you the chocolate(choice of milk or dark chocolate) and cream separately and you mix it how you please. Not to mention, the St. Mortiz cake was heavenly. Rich, silky tiers of dark, milk and white chocolate mousse separated by thin layers of almond cake. This place is a chocolate lover’s dream!

At $ 7, the hot chocolate served in a tall glass mug is really that premium. I could not make it this fancy – thus it is recommended. The place was not particularly busy when I visited so service was very fast.

This place is great! Although the line was a little long … it just goes to show what people are willing to wait for. The Ice Milk Chocolate is delicious!

Lindt café What do you do when relatives from overseas just happen to call to tell you they are sitting at the lobby of your work place? Take the afternoon off and take them to enjoy some chocolate of course! This was the first time they had ever had hot chocolate where you need to mix the chocolate and milk together. They loved it and had a wonderful experience. We ordered dark chocolate all round so it wouldn’t be too sweet. They loved it so much they poured the last bit of milk into the chocolate holder so as to savour every last drop of chocolate goodness. Now that’s what I call enjoyment!

If you’re a crazy chocolate lover like me, than the Lindt Café is the perfect place to go. Widely renowned for their ‘Lindor Balls’ there’s no wonder why Lindt has opened several cafes around Sydney after popular demand. The sweet Swiss chocolate is creatively reinvented in a huge variety of snacks and drinks that will set your mouth watering, including scrumptious chocolate cake, deliciously light pralines and chocolate creamy-filled macaroons. and to wash it all down? Lindt hot chocolate of course! Don’t hesitate to try out their gelato flavours either — for nothing extra you can get them to pour in some of their delectable hot, melted dark chocolate at the bottom of your waffle cone. If your tongues aren’t wagging just yet, or your arteries aren’t blocked from just the thought of all that cholesterol, go ahead and see for yourself. As for the prices, they can get a little steep(compared to your average block of Cadbury or Milo shake), but why not treat yourself to this little slice(of heaven), if only once or twice a month. or more.but who’s counting? And for all the hardcore chocolate fanatics that still can’t get enough, Lindt hosts their Chocolate Creations Classes, taught by Lindt Maitre Chocolatier Thomas Shcnetzler where you learn about chocolate and make your very own Lindt creations that you can personalise and take home. Classes are held once a month at the Martin Place Lindt Café and are $ 110 per person, but book fast as tickets are limited!

Everyone loves chocolate, right? What’s more, everyone loves luxurious Swiss chocolate even more? If your taste agrees with my wild generalisations, then you will also LOVE the Lindt Chocolate Café. Chocolate. EVERYWHERE. My personal favourite is the hot chocolate, although the chocolate souffles are also excellent, as are the milkshakes. Like the similar business model of Max Brenner, The Lindt Chocolat Café is always packed, and quite expensive. But where is Lindt from? The notoriously expensive Switzerland! If you’re celebrating or just indulging, then this is truly the place to do it.

As a hopeless chocolate addict, Lindt Chocolat Café managed to surpass even my wildest imagination of how chocolate deserts should be like. They offer a sweeping array of coffee and deserts to satisfy even the most discriminating chocoholic. Make sure to try their unbeatable macarons and milkshakes since these options highlight the very best of what this café has to offer. This place is just pure heavenly! That’s probably why there is almost always a crowd dining or just chilling out here on weekends. Nonetheless, no crowd would ever find me resisting the glorious joy of eating their divine deserts.

I’m not sure that this world-famous brand of exquisite chocolate needs much explanation. It is a chocolatey café that Willy Wonka would be proud to own. The desserts consist of a range of chocolate sundaes, brownies, waffles and cakes that are expensive, but can you put a price on perfection? The hot chocolate seems to be the most popular drink, and rightly so, given the pot of rich molten chocolate that accompanies the warm frothy milk. Chocolate and milk are served separately so that you can mix it to your own preferred concentration(I opted to eat the chocolate straight out the pot with a spoon). In addition, they offer ice creams, frappes and milkshakes. It is also worth noting the rainbow of Lindor Balls on offer here. Some never-seen-before flavours, such as orange, cookies and cream, mint and hazelnut are impossible to resist, and make the perfect accompaniment. One word of warning: the chances of a chocolate-induced coma are extremely high.

Definitely one of the best places to sip a hot chocolate is at Lindt Chocolate Café. This place is a chocolate lovers paradise! The café boasts of a sumptuous collection of Cakes, Ice creams, Desserts, Drinks and of course Chocolates! It is amazing to sip a melted Lindt chocolate. It tastes even better and you can choose from white, milk and dark. There is a Lindor Tower with all flavours available for sale. There is also a huge selection of Lindt chocolates that are available for sale and it is so hard to resist the temptation. The staff is extremely courteous. All Lindt café’s get packed very quickly. You may have to wait for a table, but it’s well worth the wait. I notice people tend to stay long after they have finished their drinks, just savouring in the ambience and atmosphere. It is a great place to meet friends and the staff do not rush you or hurry you to leave. It is moderately expensive but well worth it. Buy the Lindt hot chocolate flakes jar to continue relishing warm lindt even at home!
