Whole food plant based menu with a deep bench of options. Soups pastas and desserts. I like the salad dressing and lasagna. Staff was helpful. Went to the mall location. On the upper food court level. Takeaway was easy. They due take credit cards.

Only in this city would I find one of the healthiest train station eateries in the history of ever. No preservatives, fillers or artificial anything in the food. Vegetarian, gluten free and healthy snacks abound! I had the pumpkin miso soup and eggplant lasagna(gluten free)-amazing! Ok, you caught me.,.i also had one of their gluten free chocolate cupcakes… amazing! It’s a dash pricey for a train station shop, but you get what you pay for, right?! It’s totally worth it and I would take the train to this stop just to eat there.

Hooray for vegan food in Sydney city! This place is VERY difficult to find, as there’s almost a secret entrance off the Pitt Street Mall that goes to this lavish and gorgeous food court. It’s worth the trouble of finding them, as Iku is a vegan delight! And the next booth to them has fresh-squeezed juice. The woman running Iku was so delightful, warm, and helpful. The portions are generous at Iku, definitely worth your time and money.

Sandwich counter, sushi counter, sandwich counter, sushi counter… this is the what you’ll usually be bombarded with in your average Sydney food court, but wait… Iku wholefood counter? I must learn more. It’s fair to say there isn’t ONE single conventional thing on this menu, a very refreshing and slightly disconcerting fact(I used to think I was quite a foodie). It’s as though I’m looking at the results of Heston Blumenthal having been trapped in a farm, there are no additives, preservatives, meats or unimaginative products in this smorgasboard of dishes. Unsure whether I wanted everything or nothing(I mean… rice balls? ) I decided to get one of their little selection packs. Inside were 6 snakc-sized pieces of healthy goodness. I wasn’t even sure what I was eating, there was definitely rice paper rolls with satay tofu and vermicelli noodles inside, a sort of square of sweetcorn, some fried and nutty rice and a lots of pickled cabbage salad. I’m doing it a disservice not being able to name every ingredient as it was absolutely delicious! Each piece was incredibly well-herbed and every taste on your palate is tickled and the best bit is, coming away feeling like you’ve just kicked unhealthiness up the arse! Quite pricey, but a great deal of thought and care has gone into these dishes, so well worth it.
