I have never had such bad food in my life. The restaurant should consider taking«Bento box» off their menu since they have really ruined it for me. Ordered a chicken teriyaki box once and it had hardly any chicken on it, just a lots of onions. Price is not even cheap, so it is not worth it.

Quite decent ramen at a reasonable price. I ordered their gyoza ramen and a side of chicken karaage. The food came pretty quickly — then again, it should have — it was a late lunch(2 or 3PM?) and I was the only other person there. The chicken karaage was all right — it seemed rather stringy — tough and a bit overcooked, but not totally bad. The ramen was much larger than I expected. Sadly, the flavor of both the ramen and the gyoza seemed lacking. Fortunately, there were all kinds of spices(chili oil, Shichimi togarashi, and other stuff) on the table that improved the taste and it turned out to be a pretty good meal in the end. I prefer Ramen Zundo a few meters away, but if you can’t go there then this isn’t too bad an alternative.

Ordinary Bento Box for lunch. I ordered Salmon teriyaki Bento. I got 3 thinly slice of Salmon, Salad, 2 prawns tempura, 3 tiny spring rolls, rice and Miso Soup. I paid for 14.99. It wasn’t full at all. :(Or this is the end of Ajisen Ramen?

This was a random stop and didn’t expect to eat here but there were several people eating so in we went. We were seated right away and given menus. I got the tan tan ramen, which wasn’t too spicy but was a bit salty. Portion sizes are on the small side for the price. Service was quick and friendly. Water is self serve.

I came here the first night I arrived in Sydney. Haven’t discovered other great restaurants in CBD yet, my friends and I went to Ajisen because it was close by and it’s a restaurant we’re familiar with. There’s nothing special about their ramen dishes. There are other ramen restaurants that are much better. Go to Ajisen if you like bland ramen.

I had to amend my review for this because it’s so bad. Do not come. Tastes like instant ramen. Egg is frozen and hard boiled. Please refer to photo…

Very average ramen. Prices are low(eg $ 8.95 for the ‘Ajisen ramen’) but servings are small and the tonkotsu broth is disappointing. The chashu always tastes dry and crumbly, like it’s a couple of days old. The egg is hard-boiled rather than soft-boiled. Service can be a bit hopeless: one time we came here, they forgot our order and we were made to wait 45 minutes for our food. No one should ever have to wait 45 minutes for ramen. Save your time and money and go to Gumshara instead.

I really only come here for the Aussie/American style breakfast. Don’t come here for the ramen. Please don’t do that to yourself. There are many other and better places to go in the area for ramen. You may be better off going to an Asian Grocer and buying some instant noodles. But on the other hand their Aussie/American breakfast is solid.
