Gone are the days of my amazing local chicken shop. I shed a tear for thee, Ol’ Spitroast.
This place changed hands about 6 months ago (or at least had a massive staff changeover). The Portuguese chicken burger is still fine, but they’ve thinned out the chicken and, to me, it looks like they’ve changed the chili sauce. Chips are hit and miss, but they were prior to the changeover.
While the new staff/owners are probably good for my waistline, I still miss the amazing chicken burgers this place used to pump out.
