Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise

A little on the older more traditional side of the hotel world, the Crowne Plaza in a king ocean view room was a great place to stay. Located on the southern end of the tower in room 1812 we had views of the sea, beach, down to Burleigh Heads and sweeping across the Gold Coast Hinterland with fabulous views from our deep corner tub in the bathroom. If you were booking a honeymoon or a romantic night away then this room would be awesome, equally we found it spacious and comfortable with our 4 month old baby.
The king bed was firm (the way we like it) and the Crowne Plaza offers a pillow menu to suit everyone. The infant cot was free (just request with your booking) and a third pull out bed is on offer for young children if needed. Whilst this is not the most modern of properties or located directly in Broadbeach or Surfers you are not more than 10 minutes in each direction on the tram to each spot and 2 blocks walk to the beach so whats not to love. With great discounted rates online I’d happily stay here again if the opportunity arose.

A great location just out of the main part of Surfers Paradise but easily accessible by the tram along the highway with a stop outside the door! Good rooms with great views on beachside across to the main part of Surfers Paradise. Rooms a little dated need a refurbishment, but spacious good facilities and friendly staff on arrival. The hotel rooms need an upgrade and refinish and are showing their age!

Work car got broken into :-(.
Be careful not to leave any valuables in your vehicle. Even though the car park is situated underground there are no cameras there and motel takes no responsibility for anything.
It’s unsecured car parking.
Very disappointed with my $ 45 steak that could not finish as it was too rare. In there defence they did not charge me for a glass of wine.
Cheaper rooms then some of the others but I will defiantly pay the touch more next time.

It’s the little things you notice in such a competitive market and the Crowne Plaza never failed to impress.
Elevator doors were open in the foyer, ready to take you up to your spacious room.
The complementary sparkling wine & chocolates on arrival made the «wow» factor we all experience when opening a hotel door even more wow.
The hotel staff placed us on pretty much the highest floor, which meant we had a pretty decent view & private balcony.
The concierge was helpful & friendly, and we’re yet to find something he cannot do. Cheers for printing out our tickets.
Our friends who were staying at another hotel were suitably jealous of our room. Definitely the little things that made our stay here so good.

The ratings say 4 stars but after the first 10 minutes my reaction was definetely 5 stars. Having stayed at many a five star… this hotel was a breath of fresh air.
The room had a beachfront view and had the sofabed already made up for our arrival. It was spacious and there was plenty of room for my kids to run around (sorry next room for the screaming!) and a gorgeous pool or 3. Just 2 blocks from the beach less than 1.5kms to currumbin, surfers, jupiters and lots of restaurants. Convenient and gorgeous and the rooms are new looking room service friendly and carparking free. Really. Really!
Room service to 11pm and did mention private balcony with an amazing view? Super quick elevators and really friendly staff. The serenity spa was an ok experience but cant really complain overall with the rest and price.
We will be back with our kids and we will have a great time. Unilocaling great views and great people.
