**Ding ding** — that was the sound of my shrill and annoyingly positive bicycle bell as I rode on out of Cell Bikes on a rainy Saturday afternoon.
It could be the euphoria of suddenly joining the cycling elite of Sydney’s eastern suburbs, or it could be a residual buzz from the positive and efficient customer service at Cell that left me feeling confident in my purchase.
The gentlemen at Cell put the bike together for me in only 45 minutes, giving me time to carb-​load before hitting the backstreets of Stanmore. It also comes with the promise of a check-​up a month later, to see how you’re going.
Cell have a wide range of bicycle bric-​à-​brac for the novice to the pro. As a self-​confessed «noob», I was only in for the basics. The staff were fine with this, making no effort to hit me up for more of my shiny pennies.
The stores boasts top quality product, corroborated by many friends and coworkers who can testify to their durable and affordable cycles.
If the Cell website were as equally as Unilocal-​able as the bricks and mortar store i’d give it 5 stars too. Easy to use and ties in well with the store through offers of discounts and special, sneaky deals.
Top-​notch customer service + after sales care, affordable pricing and high quality product make Cell the ONLY bicycle store for me in Sydney.

Great online store for bike bargains, got myself my first shoes and pedals for my road bike for a great price highly recommend

Back in Sydney for a while & I needed a bike ($ 48 a week for the train is nuts)
I had seen Cell Bikes website in the past
— its a great place to research before buying. Lots of pics & info & advice on whats in stock eg I need a taller frame & some models don’t have it.
A bike is something you really need to try out before buying so it was off to the store after work one night.
The staff were helping other customers when I got there so I had a look for the 3 bikes I had researched on the website.
The store was busy but as soon as he was free (sent a customer off for a trial ride) John came over to see if I needed help. I told him what I was after & my price range. He actually advised me against one of my choices but gave me good reasons why.
He then gave me pros & cons for the other 2 bikes I was looking at before showing me a mountain bike in my price range. Its not often i jump on a bike & it just feels right but this one did. An easy sell.
Cell Bikes gave my new bike a quick service — really only needed a bit of air in the tyres but its nice to know they check everything again.
I was asked if I needed a helmet — which I had or a lock which I bought from them.
The bike also comes with a free first service which is nice.
I rode it home & have been enjoying it for the ride to work & longer rides on the weekend — great service — great bike.
