First time I’ve ever had a watered down Korma and madras!!! I wasn’t impressed. The Coke can given to me as part of the lunch special was grotty and dirty. The cup /water reaked of chemicals. my experience only fellow Unilocalers…

I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything was based on the modest kitchen size. I ordered butter chicken, medium spice, and it was very spicy and flavourful. What a treat! Garlic naan was tasty as well. I could probably skip the pakora and try the samosa next time. Pakora was a bit thick and doughy, would have liked more veggies. Overall a worthwhile experience and decent price. Give it a go.

Really cozy and friendly place to get some solid Indian food — always feel at home here. It is not the fanciest Indian restaurant in the city, but it is probably the friendliest and you really can’t beat the price. Great place to eat in or take away after a long day of work(it’s conveniently located right across from the South Yarra station). This is definitely one of my neighbourhood favourites.
