We weren’t sure what to expect when we went in. The wait staff were amazing. A pet hate of mine is being interrupted throughout my meal. Staff saw that our plates were promptly removed from the table after we finished our meal. Took our empty glasses away and ensured we had drinks. Very friendly when she came over. The food was amazing. We had the plate of dips. Each dip was great. The pita was nice and a good size to share. For mains I had vegetarian moussaka. It was the best moussaka I have had. Portion size was good no complaints from any of our group. The drinks list was good too. We all had our preferred drinks. I will definitely be returning again

With a hunger in my belly and Asian’d out(90% of meals I cook at home are some kind of Asian cuisine. Not due to the fact my husband is Indonesian, but the kids, hubby and I just love Asian food, a lot!) my Mum invited us out for dinner and made the decision to go Greek tonight. Yup can honestly say she is brilliant and being her offspring I am sure to have inherited some of that. From the time I walked through the door to the time we left the staff were attentive, friendly, full of fun and created such a great atmosphere for diners. We ordered two kids meals(for the kids of course) which was fish and chips. For my mum and I we ordered a shared mezze platter. Wow! The kids meals were huge, not that I’m complaining as I got to pinch a chip or ten plus some lightly super crispy crumbed fish and dipped it in to the aioli(seriously really good aioli!). It also had a decent sized salad. The mezze platter was served on a wooden board and consisted of calamari, octopus and whitebait ever so lightly coated in what seemed to be a fine polenta/potato flour coating. It was melt in your mouth! It was heaven! *goes in to a food coma* Umm now I’ve forgotten everything else that was on that platter(looks for picture)… oh yeah! There were olives, Greek feta, tzatziki, pita bread, spanakopitas, dolmades(yumm these packed so much flavour punch!) and koftas. All were delicious in their own right. If I had to choose my least favourite on the mezze it would be the koftas. They were too small to get a real sense of flavour, okay honestly who doesn’t want big fat koftas in their gob! We were adequately stuffed as we had to nibble on the kids meals to finish them off so dessert wasn’t on the cards(changed my mind not too long after lol). Instead we ordered some lattes which were just the perfect temperature and strength. The lady that made them knows her stuff! In the end after I got in to my car I was beckoned by the thought of take away dessert. There is a spot in your stomach(there are studies people, scientific studies! Honest lol) that always has room for dessert, especially Cream Kataifi. So I ordered Cream Kataifi, and it was good. Now it’s time to unbutton my pants and go belly up on the couch. Go to Greek Kouzina, you won’t be disappointed!
