I don’t know if it’s always had the same name, or been the same owners, but this fruit and veg shop as been around since I was a kid. They’ve usually got better quality stuff than the Foodland or Woolies, and are also helpful and know a lot more about their produce.
They were a lifesaver for me last Summer, when I’d pop in every week to grab some fresh figs for my cupcakes. From what I’ve found fresh figs aren’t easy to come by in supermarkets down south, so without a tree to pick them from, TC’s was a real life saver.
