Went here for coffee and some breakfast. Coffee was good but not amazing. I got the canadian crêpe with bacon, banana and maple syrup. While the crêpe looked like it was drowning in syrup at the start I had run out of syrup on my plate by the end so my last mouthfuls were a bit dry. I couldn’t see any of the milk crates mentioned by others. The seating were some small round outside tables and one longer table suitable for a group.

The staff are poorly trained, failing at both greeting customers and taking orders. The crepes are good, but expensive, and the coffee is poor. As far as I can tell, the store is run by hipsters and it attracts hipsters. The cloth covered milk crate chairs are just a quirky alternative to sitting in a real chair, but it is disturbing that they store them on top of the dumpster in the alley when the store is closed. which it is most of the time. Every night at 6pm there’s a torrent of commuters coming from the train that walk right past this store, almost all of them look inside longingly, but alas, they close at 4pm. It’s not uncommon to walk past at 2pm and find them closed either.
