Really wanted to love this place. The décor is just gorgeous, love the tile and open kitchen. Was only about 10 people in the place when I arrived. There was no menu on the table, a waitress passed me twice and the manger/possible owner passed me once without even a good morning. I went to the counter to grab a menu and order but was told to take a seat by the manger/owner as he would come to me, great. After more waiting(about 15 mins at this point) and watching him deal with staff and two other customers, I went and ordered at the counter. After returning to my table for the second time said manager commented in a gruff tone ‘I was just getting to you’. Obviously my facial expression said it all and to his credit he saw I had a laptop and offered me the wifi password perhaps as an attempt at service recovery. Coffee was good, no complaints there. Was going to try the food as the slightly $$ menu looked tasty but I didn’t feel welcome there. The service is clearly set up so each of the three staff had their own duties, which makes sense. However the point of hospitality is that you serve your customer. There is no reason the person taking counter orders and clearing tables can’t welcome a new customer and offer them a menu if the table service wait staff are doing something else, especially if they otherwise are standing around. Would like to see some teamwork if I find myself there again.

Popped in this morning for a casual brekkie. Lovely atmosphere, white setting, wood tables, open kitchen and felt warm and welcoming. On the weekends it is super popular so I was glad to come on a weekday. So many things I’d love to try, but I got the toast with ricotta, mushrooms and poached eggs. Beautifully poached eggs with a delicious thyme flavoured benedict sauce, the whole thing was delicious and worth the steep $ 17. Service was fast, the man was polite and helpful and I happily go again to try some of the other offerings(Bircher, chia pudding, pancakes and the lunch salad options too). I had a latte that was single origin and a very smooth tasty flavour. I’m not a fan or brown sugar but it seems to be the trendy thing at the moment. Check this place out.

Great food, service and atmosphere. We took our toddler & it was a great place for her too. Parking is a issue at lunch. Get there early & be prepared to circle for a spot.

Outstanding! New favourite breakfast place in Sydney. Best mince on toast. Terrific coffee. Sit outside. Wonderful place all round
