Fist2Face is an independent music store found as you’re leaving the eastern suburb of Ringwood for more of the Eastern splendor that is the ‘burbs.
Having moved recently, the music store now faces the busy Maroondah Hwy, with a wicked little stage area for bands to one side. Most weekends you’ll find a band — big or small, Australian or even International, playing a few tunes to the kids that show up.
The stock inside is a focus on those into punk, ska, emo, screamo and many other music genres found in between. don’t come here if you’re looking for funk. don’t come here if you’re looking for choral. Do come here if you want to have you’re mind opened at the possibilities of music and even the resilience of the Melbourne music scene. With a strong emphasis on Melbourne and Australian music, you’re bound to find yourself something you’ve never seen.
