This place is ok, it’s got pretty high ratings for what it is. Very polite staff and the place is nice but there’s a lot of good burgers out there and I’d probably rate this one in the mid range. I had the chicken burger with onion rings and I’d probably give them a ⁵⁄₁₀. $ 21 for a burger, latte, and onion rings so the price is average and if you order chips, you don’t get a lot. It was a positive experience but not amazing food.

Fantastic burger joint. One of the better burgers I’ve had in a while. Friendly, down to earth service. Chef made a good recommendation too. Much pefer this kind of burger joint to a mass chain or hyped up one (eg, Huxta)

This place is fantastic. Staff and food are terrific. Best burgers and chips. Breakfast is faultless. Dessert slices are addictive. Everything a café should be and more. Great stuff

Masquerading as a local coffee shop this place actually is a burger joint with deliciously juicy burgers.
Had the Tree Burger and added cheese. Patty was nice and pink and all the ingredients fresh. Bun is a little in the sweet side.
Have previously (last night!) had the chili tree burger which was equally great. Just the right amount of kick for a chili burger.
I had a great bacon and eggs and coffee here a few weeks ago too — hence discovering it’s secret burger-​y menu.

I went here a couple of weeks ago after working up a monstrous hunger furniture shopping.
The bloke at the counter ran us around the back so we could get some sunshine and was super easy to deal with. We ordered a burger each and some onion rings and fries. Actual onion rings, freshly battered, light, really delicious. Hand cut chips much the same.
Liquor license not permitting at 3pm I opted for water. The burger was screaming out for a cider or lager. The bun was fresh, the cheese, jalapeños, were all top notch. The patty itself could have been higher grade chuck for the price but was great nonetheless.
The burgers here are far from greesebombs but they would make suitable hangover cures along with some onion rings if thats your criteria.
Good burgers. Nice staff. Will be back.

The food here is jaw-​to-​the-​floor ridonkulous. We came here for part 1 of a 3-​part burger crawl, so naturally my partner had the breakfast burger (I, unfortunately, due to my vegetarian inclinations, went for a goats cheese omelette instead). The food was just wonderful — perfectly seasoned, fresh, and flavourful; considering the options we chose were fairly standard breakfast fare. The coffee was good, and the service was beyond friendly; we could have stayed to chat for hours! The interior wasn’t anything special, though they did have some really awesome artwork adorning the walls, which my partner and I were both thoroughly enamoured with.
We spotted a few specials advertised for certain nights during the week, so we’ll have to go back to check those out (wing night, anyone?).

Tried this place out with the husband for a Sunday night bite after driving past about a million times and thinking «I must go there & try it out».
Glad we finally did.
The staff were so warm & friendly and the burgers were very tasty & oh so juicy! I had the standard beef burger with added Swiss cheese while the husband got the chilli cheese & bacon burger that was the special of the day. We also got a small side of fries to share.
My burger was perfectly cooked — still pink — which is how a good burger should be & how they do them as a standard at Tree of Us (don’t worry, if you like your meat well done, just ask, they are happy to keep it on the grill to your liking)! The bun stacked up pretty well — it looked briochey but wasn’t tooooo sickly sweet like some can be. It had a good texture!
The aioli sauce on my burger was tasty but maybe there was a little too much. And I would have liked more pickles, but I might just order extra next time, it’s a personal preference!
The husband loved his burger special and I had a little taste of the chilli cheese sauce (house made) — it was delish, just enough kick without making your face go numb from the heat.
The thrice cooked chips were crisp yet still fluffy inside. They came with rock salt and rosemary as seasoning. We also shared a strawberry milkshake which was ok. I am a bit of a milkshake fanatic though. It wasn’t bad, just not one of the best I have ever had. Would still try the milo one next time though, just to be sure…
They also offer takeaway (handy!) and you get a $ 4 discount off your burger if you check in on Unilocal!Winning! Definitely a nice permanent addition to the Richmond burger scene.

Yeah so I have died and gone to burger heaven! I love burgers, I will try any burger and I will eat all the burger! This place has blown my mind, the burgers are amazing! Big, fat and juicy! Fantastic variety, reasonably priced and super friendly staff.
Love that if you check in you get $ 4 off and they even have salted caramel brownies. Funky layout with a very cute courtyard area, they have a smoothie of the day & do sensational milkshakes.
This will be my new go to as it is way to close to my house!

We were heading to the Vic Bar for a block party and stumbled across this gem.
Superb service and amazingly cooked food. They have an indoor and outdoor seating option and are a café during the day.
Epic good times for dinner. We had the chicken and beef burger, the two basic burgers and chips. Also they have the tastiest canned beer I have had called Astro for 5 bucks!
What’s more we hit up the check in deal so our epic meal time came in a lot cheaper than getting a beer at a bar and it was better.
Definitely a place to visit any time of day.

The Stalios burger is the best I’ve ever eaten. Full of flavour, big, but not too fatty and heavy. The staff are lovely. The location is peaceful and sunny, and artwork beautiful.

Serving size is plenty! Service staff are great. Place is a lil’ hipsterish but they played good music, so i was happy.
Also have a small outdoor courtyard at back for those summer nights and smokers!
Cant wait to come back and try their biggest burger — «stavros» i think?! (apparently named after a person who ate 3 of these burgers — i just might have to eat 4!!!)
