We dined here a while ago and I am looking forward to returning. It is a terrific place, serving terrific food. The atmosphere is terrific and the location is terrific. The parking is terrible though.

I think there are better thai restaurants in Randwick. Service was alright. So was the food… Curry puffs — They were slighty sweet(?!), which I didnt like. But the fillings were quite good Duck Pad See Ew — Pretty good, but half of the plate was filled with salad?! Not sure if I would be back. But the ambiance is pretty good as the tables arent too close to one another.

The Applebees of Thai. If youre at The Spot, stick to Chao Praya or Blue Monkey if you want the real deal.

This is a very solid Thai option — I’m a fan of the spring rolls and their version of a plum sauce, and the cashew tofu stir fry. The Tom Kah soup is also good. Fast, friendly service too.

Thai Riffic by name, Thairiffic by nature. Great place situated right in the heart if The Spot. Each if our party of 4 was delighted with what they had(big thumbs up for the green & red curries especially!). The atmosphere was lovely; great ambiance, good lighting & friendly, efficient staff. Oh and it’s BYO for wine, $ 3 pp. All in all, great evening out & very good value… We’ll be back!

OHMYGOD!!! OHMYGOD!!! The nicest, most tasty, mouth watering food in the Spot. We ordered a selction of spring rolls, wings and these curried little pastry things to start. Mmmmmmmm mmmmm mmmmmmm! Then I got the Massaman Beef curry with fried rice on the side… I was actually annoyed with myself that I couldnt finish it because it was so yummy. The beef was just so damn tender! Its BYO too! The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the toilets are down a side lane way in this shack out the back of the restaurant. Very weird considering the place was so busy im sure they could manage to put some funds into a proper loo!

Pretty good Thai restaurant up in the Spot. There are SOMANY Thai restaurants in Sydney, so you just never know. They are like Starbucks in the states. We stopped off here before our drive up to Canberra. They have a customized noodle bar menu, where you can choose your protein, your sauce and your noodles. I usually get pad thai, but decided to try the basil chili noodles with seafood. My friends ordered curry and a duck dish. It came out like in 10 minutes and all were pretty tasty. Staff was friendly and we didn’t feel rushed It was BYO, so we stopped by a bottle shop and got a bottle of wine and some beer. Overall a yummy Thai place with friendly staff and cool ambiance.

Let’s face it, reviewing a Thai restaurant in Sydney is almost as useful as nipples on a wetsuit. They’d have to get something monumentally wrong to warrant a negative review. If you survive the Sydney standard, chances are you’re doing okay. I like to characterise Sydney Thai restaurants into three main categories: «cheap and cheerful», «grown up and ‘proper’ «and«huh?». Thairiffic falls under the«grown up and ‘proper’ «category. With dimmed lights, thoughtful décor and«Thai» finishings throughout the restaurant, it’s suitable for dinner with the in-laws or a first date. The food pleases with standard Thai fare, including delicious chef’s specials and generous servings. The salt and pepper squid is a personal favourite. Thairiffic is also a franchise and the Randwick version keeps its namesake’s good standards. Thairiffic Randwick ticks the boxes.

Thai Rifffic in Randwick has quite an ambience that is atypical for Thai restaurants in Sydney. Moody lighting and lantern sculptures make for a relaxing atmos. The food is pretty great too. ‘Lover’ and I went there after a movie at the Ritz so we had consumed a large popcorn before settling down for dinner. Not the smartest idea we have had, let me tell you. With Thai you always want to sample a few dishes so naturally we over-ordered. The Green Papaya salad with BBQ beef was a fresh starter to cleanse the palate and prepare us for our feast. Scrumptious Spring Rolls with a sauce a little too sweet for me. Salt and Pepper Squid was big, chunky and good slices of chilli adds heat to cut through the fat. There aren’t a lot of curries to choose from, surprisingly, so we settles on the Penang with Tofu and Veggies. Beautiful thick sauce which made all the difference. There are chefs specials to choose from too that look good. Obviously we ended up taking half of it home as we were so full! It was just as good, if not better the next day.

Thai Riffic is Terrific, yes it is true, well, I can at least guarantee their lamb cutlets are. They offer marinated lamb cutlets in three options: Creamy sweet chilly sauce, garlic and pepper and Massamun Curry. So there was no decision making involved for me, whenever I see Massamun Lamb offered as an alternative to beef I order it and to have it with lamb cutlets, even better! It was a delicious thick Massamun curry; I could have done with an extra cutlet though. The Décor of Thai Riffic also deserves a mention, it is a beautifully set out restaurant with moody lanterns lighting the dining area and wooden bench style furniture, you can sit outside too but you are right on the sidewalk. Thai Rifffic effectively provide an elegant, classy dining experience and the food is presented beautifully, I will definitely return.
