You don’t see many Peruvian restaurants around Sydney, but I enjoy South American cuisine, so when I spotted La Cocina Peruana, I had to try it and it did not let me down. It was a tough choice of dishes as the menu had many options, most of which I was unfamiliar, finally I settled on Carapulcra a la Limena, which was a stew with Chicken, Pork and Potatos. It doesn’t sound exciting but believe me it was, it was so delicious, it was the kind of stew that had so many flavours and had probably been stewing for hours(at least). I was so impressed, I have to go back there as well and I went with a Vegetarian who was thrilled to see they had multiple vegetarian choices on the menu too.
