Cradle Rock

Cradle Rock is tucked away on a residential street. I never would have found it except that they have a Unilocal check-​in offer (currently 10% discount) and I was browsing deals in the area.
I thought I would duck in to check out some clothes for my nieces and nephews, but actually found their toy collection quite distracting. While they’re definitely skewed towards stuff for little kids, there is a decent amount of more collectable toy items here too that would make cute decorations. When I went in there was a giant deer in the middle of the room and cupi-​esk babies strung from the ceiling! I ended up buying a money box for my Mum because it was just really cute. Sorry kids… maybe next time!
Some items on the shelves were a little dusty and the prices weren’t clearly marked, but it was the silly season when I went in and the owner was happy to fetch me a new one. I also realised when I got home that I wasn’t given a receipt, so make sure you ask for one if you are buying a gift.
